    three team trade

Anybody else hear this rumor: Szcerbiak to New York, Sprewell to the Pistons, and Stackhouse to the Timberwolves. I think that's right. Anyway, I heard it mentioned briefly yesterday. I think the key issue is that Wally makes much less than the other two guys.

    What do you guys think?

I hope not. As good as Wally is, I don't want to see Sprewell go

I think the fact that Wally makes less money is a good thing for the Knicks. Although, I don't know why the Pistons would want to get rid of Stackhouse. Didn't he get with the system last year?

Who knows, maybe there wasn't really much to this rumor. I haven't seen or heard anything else about it.

Aldridge said the only reason it hasn't gone down is because the Wolves are hesitant.

Thing is, there's about an $8 million difference between Wally and Spree, so the Wolves would have to pony up some more contracts if they want this to go through. That leads to many complications.

Assuming all the salary matching pieces are equal, I'd love the trade. Stack for Wally? Sign me up.

Don't know if the $ difference can be worked out, but I would love to see KG and Stack on the floor together. Wally is a great young player, but his defense is pretty weak.

Stack better not be traded, I think he wants to make up for his poor showing against the Celtics in the playoffs.

If they trade Stack I would rather have Wally in return.

But I do not think they will trade him. Here is Dumars response to the rumor

No doubt, Spree won't cut it in a Piston uni.

Damn. I would have loved that trade. Oh well.

Maybe it shows that the Wolves are at least trying to move Wally. Hopefully.

It won't work out for either team. Stackhouse and Garnett problem waiting to happen.

i cant see the pistons parting with stack after the season he had last year. they need to hope that rodney white steps up this year.
