What Are You Looking Most Forward To This Season?

Like the topic says, what are you looking forward to in the NBA 2008/2009 season?

    For me:

    - Seeing how all the rooks play and develop. We're talking Mayo, Rose, Beasley, Love, Gallinari, Westbrook, and of coarse, Greg Oden FINALLY!

    - How the Rockets do this season with key pick up Artest. THEY HAVE NO EXCUSE NOT GETTING OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND THIS YEAR!

    - Wade playing with what appears to be 100% health alongside of Beasley.

    - To see how the Suns do with under a new coach, and a full year with THE BIG CACTUS.

    - The Lakers w/ Kobe, Pau, and hopefully a healthy Bynum playing together.

    - The Hornets getting more TV time this year.

    - LeBron James' continued dominance. Let's not forget. Dude is still young as hell. ONLY 23 YEARS OLD!

    What about you guys.

What are you looking forward to this season?

Greg Oden... I don't watch much (hell, hardly any) pro basketball... but anytime I can see Oden, I'll be tuning in.

I'm looking forward to JR Smith getting good minutes finally (maybe George Karl will have to resign first, but that's okay by me!)... I'm also looking forward to the Nuggets averaging 120 PPG and giving up 121 PPG. And see if Nene is healthy, because he can be a beast when he's running the floor and feeling confident.

And yeah, the rookies, specifically Anthony Randolph (hope he gets some burn), the Blazers young guys (Rudy, Bayless, even Batum), OJ Mayo, and Beasley.

I want to see if the Suns and/or Mavs manage to miss the playoffs. I just have a feeling that one or both will be out... I don't trust a full season of Shaq combined with a new coach and Nash's bad back. Amare will be a monster as usual, but I don't think he can save them...

If the 76ers can get a 5 seed or higher... they'd be really dangerous in any playoff matchup, but if they get a high seed, I think they'll end up in the ECF this year.

            Mainly, just the Cavs.

However, Oden will get me watching some, as will Rose, Beasley, Wade, and Kobe as always. And probably some Rockets games, to check up on how that team is looking.

                  Oden, biatch!

And see if the Knicks can progress at all under D'Antoni.

Haha yeah, I forgot to add:

Seeing how the HELL D'Antoni tries to incorporate Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph into his system. Should be funny if nothing else...

Looking forward (along with some of my friends) to meeting Isiah on a dark and lonely street...lol

But seriously, I'm curious to see if Stuckey is gonna make it to the next level. At first I didn't like this guy because I thought he's too selfish, but the more I watched him the more I liked him (though he can be selfish at times). But we'll see. The Pistons aren't getting younger, so the younger guys will have to show what they can do.

After his great play in the Olympics, I want to see what Wade does with Beasley and Marion. That will either be awesome or a disaster without a PG to run things.

Also, can Mayo resurrect the Grizzlies? And like somebody else said, I want to see Eddie "Fatty Fatterson" Curry and Randolph wheezing up and down the floor at MSG for comedy purposes.
