    1. Knicks, Bucks, Bobcats, Bulls, Heat who makes the playoffs out of this group, who's season is over. All new coaches.

    2. Knicks's....I am a Georgia Tech PG fan and Marbury may not be a point anymore but I would like to see him turn his rep around. At least on the court. Plus D'Antoni is my favorite personality in the league....this guy has got some balls. I really hope the Knicks do well. I am actively rooting for them.

    3. Toronto....how does Calderon run the team. Is JO done?

    4. Indiana, they are my local team and they have Jarret Jack who is a good combo guard off the bench. I also think Roy Hibbert will be a better pro player than people think. I also want to see how this team plays because it doesn't have a star. Will Granger step up? Dunleavy? Ford?Tryo Murphy?

    5. The Thunder. I hope they lose every game and the owners get syphillis and there cocks fall off.

    6. Scoring...up or down league wide? Better FG%?

    7. Does Stern help or hurt the league now? Praised for years as the best commish in the major sports....now it seems the tide has turned against him.

    8. Will middle America watch the NBA?

    9. Will Jason Kidd have another migraine?

    10. Nuggets are they finally going to blow up? Come on Melo.

Re: Which things are you guys interested to find out once the season starts?

I have a soft spot for the Knicks because my dad and older brother are huge fans (well, used to be... it's been sour as of late, obviously). I hope they rise up ASAP. It's good to see my fam watch good sports in the winter time while I'm watching my Spurs.

I personally love the Thunder and wish them well, because they are a Spurs prototype. Recently Former Spurs execs work there, including GM Sam Presti and Head Coach PJ Carlisemo. They are relatively close to Texas now, and they own their own local NBDL affiliate like the Spurs too.

My question has to do with how the Memphis Grizzlies make use of their potentially talented guard combo of O.J. Mayo, Mike Conley, and Kyle Lowry. All three are PG types, but Mayo will almost certainly play SG, while Lowry and Conley play interchangeably while filling in for Mayo too.

If any of you guys know a preseason answer to this question, please enlighten me, because I did my own study over this summer on point guard ability, and based on these findings, I conclude that Kyle Lowry should be utilized more than the Grizzlies may even know.

I looked at a player's ability to create points, based on pure creativity. A perfectly built creative player would score a lot and very efficiently. He would assist others in scoring, including threes. He will draw fouls and create points that way. When he scores, he rarely needs to be assisted. He hardly turns the ball over. I studied all these stats and recorded them on a per game basis, a per 36 minute basis, a 20 possession basis, and a Entire team of each player basis (if a team was built of all Tony Parkers, that team would score... PPG.)

Here are the top "Creative" Players in 2007-08 on a 20-possession basis (a regular game's worth for a star player).
      1. 29.4 - Chris Paul
      2. 27.5 - Kobe Bryant
      3. 27.3 - Jameer Nelson
      4. 26.8 - Deron Williams
      5. 26.5 - Allen Iverson
      6. 26.5 - Tony Parker
      7. 26.4 - LeBron James
      8. 26.4 - Kyle Lowry
      9. 25.7 - Baron Davis
      10. 25.2 - Manu Ginobili
      11. 24.9 - Monta Ellis
      12. 24.9 - Andre Miller
      13. 24.8 - Hedo Turkoglu
      14. 24.6 - Paul Pierce
      15. 24.5 - Steve Blake

Here is for a whole team of all the players.
      1. 129.6 - Chris Paul
      2. 123.6 - Deron Williams
      3. 121.4 - Jameer Nelson
      4. 116.9 - Kyle Lowry
      5. 112.4 - Kobe Bryant
      6. 112.1 - Allen Iverson
      7. 110.3 - Tony Parker
      8. 110.3 - LeBron James
      9. 110.2 - Brevin Knight
      10. 107.5 - Jamaal Tinsley

Lowry does something right. I'm excited to watch Memphis this year. Our whole division is tremendous.

Kevin Durant's PPG. I think he will average close to 30 THIS season. Him and Westbrook will be exciting to watch.

If Greg Oden can go 10-10 for my fantasy team.

If Jermaine O'Neal's gonna be healthy enough to last the season with the Raps.

              Same token with Dwyane Wade.

                    1. How well will Mo Williams mesh with LeBron?
                    2. Will LeBron suffer from post-Olympic fatigue like he did in 2006?
                    3. Will Danny Ferry be able to turn Wally's expiring contract into a low-post scorer?
