I'm not jumping on him, i just thought it was funny how the league tries to bill it as some sort of epic clash between two titans, and Shaq basically just destroyed him.Comment

This just in, I don't know how many of these dunks were on Yao, but Shaq shot 16-26, and dunked it 10 out of those 16 times. That's a whole lotta dunkin. I guess Shaq practices with donuts tho.

The NBA hypes it up to make more interest in the league and of course to make more money. But what annoys me is when people believe that poor Yao is crap because Shaq dominated him.
Shaquille O'Neal is perhaps the most dominant bigman in the history of the game, he is the reason why the Lakers are the 3 time World Champs and then he goes and beats up on a rookie and everyone gives poor Yao stick.
Yao Ming will be very very good but for god's sake give the guy a break and let him develop some more before you start calling him a bust. Shaq got dominated on when he was younger...all rookies get schooled.
Oh and in Yao defence...he may have got dunked on but at least he was contesting the shot and I like that about Yao. A lot of guys just get out of the way when Shaq brings the thunder! But not Yao he will front up every time and try to block the shot...so he didnt get one yesterday but do we all remember the 3 he tagged in Shaq/Yao 1??
Not to mention Shaq's measly 5 rebounds....Yao dominated him on the boards...getting double what Shaq got.Comment
