What was Michael Jordan's statistically best season?

Question is simple. What was Michael Jordan's statistically best season? Not the year he won it all, the statistically best.

'88-'89 looks like the best to me. 33/8/8 and shot 54%.

I voted the same way, i still find it shocking Magic got the MVP that year over Jordan.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

I've always thought that this was Jordan's best individual season. This was the year Doug Collins moved Jordan to the point. And this was when everyone discovered that he was more than a scorer...he was a playmaker. Who would have thought during that time that Jordan would be in the top 10 in assist during that season.

I go w/88-89 too. But you have to look @ the season before as well. His 2nd best scoring average w/better than 3 steals & 1.5 blocks. Yikes.

Funny that MJ got more rebounds in 1988-89 even though he had Pippen and Grant by then.
