No Love for Andris?

Granted I am a warrior fan and a total homer.

That being said I believe Andris Biedrins is one of the best centers in the league. He doesn't have the "name" and flash like Bynum,Gasol,Kaman etc..

But the fact of the matter is this dude just gets it done plain and simple. Despite not having a super polished offensive game he has managed to average more attempts per game this year (Thank you Nellie finally) and his fg% has not suffered...

He is one of the best rebounding centers in the league, a decent but not great shot blocker, and he has tremendous hands, agility, and quickness/speed hes quite frnakly probably the quickest center in the league.

I get that 90% of you don't really watch our team and pay attention to Goose (Dres nickname). But i urge you to watch this dude play hes quite frankly our best/most consistent player right now... and i honestly don't see any scenario where he doesn't average 17+/12/1.6 this year.

I'm just glad don nelson is finally playing him 0+ minutes and has stopped with the Harrington at center gimmick.

As far as real life, I'm not sure he'll ever become an All-Star.. how do you see his prospects in terms of becoming All-NBA or an All-Star GSW?

Dude definitely doesn't get alot of love as the other Centers you named.

Dude is underrated(as much as I hate using that term) imo, as he can put up some good numbers on almost a nightly basis.

I could've sworn I thought they said his nickname was bart simpson as he looks almost exactly like him lol.

Im a homer but I know hoop, and andris gets it done.

I think if he continues to do what hes doing now then he should be an all star.. I mean lets be serious right now (4 games in) hes the best center in the west...will that change? probably, but the fact is you cant continue to hate on someone who is avg 14/12 shooting 62% from the field and hardly any turnovers.

It just wouldnt make sense for him NOT to make it.

But I'm also realistic and i know for a fact that if andrew bynum or chandler get even close or similar numbers to goose that they would make it over him... they have the "name".

Beans hasnt established himself as a premier NBA player... but that will change after this year... and hes only 22 years old

I think he is a great center. He is probably the quickest/fastest center in the league but no one will admit it because he is a --- rhymes with donkey ---

I think he is the biggest reason the Warriors can play the style they do. He is the catalyst for a lot of transition points and he can switch out and guard wing players better than 95% of the centers in the league.

Great draft pick....he certainly wasn't a lock like kwame brown and darkO!

im comparing to how he was when he came in.. he was AWFUL.. 40% isnt great but i can live with 50% out of him... hes atleast trying to get better at it.
