Re: 11/10-11/16 NBA Discussion
But the fact of the matter is, it's not just Artest. Players reputations, good or bad, will determine how they are officiated. Last night, T-Mac did his 2K7 pump fake, step into the defender move, which usually gets defenders to make alot of contact. Last night, there was none, but the refs were anticipating it so they called a foul.
Yao used to get called for moving screens all the time before I think it was Van Gundy sent a tape to the league officials saying Dallas was dong the same thing. But, it's gonna be there if you are looking for it and ignoring things that disconfirm your stereotype. It's basic psychology.
D-Wade goes to the line alot and is barely touched sometimes. Kobe too.
And sadly, because they are anticipating that something is going to happen, Mr. Artest gets T'd up for trying to pull Rafer back to the free throw line.
On the topic, I will say this, T-Mac actually showing some passion in the game and in the fight brought a smile to my face.
I think the Ron Artest players-only vets meeting had a great effect on the whole team. He has shown so much loyalty, heart, leadership, and dedication to this team, I hope he retires in Houston.Comment

Re: 11/10-11/16 NBA Discussion
Someone should have knocked Barnes on his ***, right hook to the jaw.
EDIT- Nice to see Shaq come in and shove a guy from behind, what a ****ing girl, I hate that piece of trash. Wow, Shaq came in and shoved McGrady in the back first, then shoves Yao in the back and then shoves Alston in the back, that should be an easy suspension as he was doing the exact opposite of breaking it up.Comment

Re: 11/10-11/16 NBA Discussion
Shaq was just looking out for Nash. Then Big Daddy basically pushed 10 people away and to the side, which was hilarious.
And the announcers were right (ESPN), a foul should have been called on Barnes. That was as blatant as you can get without actually punching somebody.

Looking forward to the late game tonight, Pistons @ Warriors. According to Michael Curry, Kwame Brown has been pushed into the starting lineup for Detroit ahead of Amir Johnson. Does Curry see something we don't?When I was just a little boy

LMAO @ Charles' comments on the fight last night.
"Other than Shaq and Rafer, that was just a bunch of dudes pushing each other that can't fight".
"That wasn't a fight....that was a Sccccuffle."
The way he said scuffle was almost priceless lol.#RespectTheCultureComment
