not only finley, bradley and lafrentz have to get their minds in the game. the blazers' big men were pounding them inside... During a time out van exel cussed out dallas' big men but that didnt do anything cause sometimes bradley and lafrents get scared or cant handle it when big men under their play rough... this is why I fear the blazers almost more than any other team.. because they dont fear the mavericks... they just bring it to us...

and when some of you guys talk abouit the big games... meaning sac, la, and sa.... i already brought up the point that we hung in with those teams and it was reallly close and could have gone either way so i really dont understand how you can just count the mavs out...

sac: Loss 94-123....Loss 109-110....Loss (OT) 124-126....Win (OT) 129-123 first game we got blown out... 2nd and third it could have went either way.. and so could have the 4th game.... and also last season dallas won the regular season series 3-1...so i dont know how you sac fans count the mavs out and when our games are too similar...

sa: Loss 104-111....Win 95-87...Loss (OT) 110-112... as you can see we lost the first game.. w/out dirk... 2nd game we won and contained duncan... 3rd game we lost in ot... could have gone either way was one of the best games in the season... soo i also dont understand if the sa fans would be too cocky however, sa is probably the toughest to face for ANY team in the west because of duncan, tony, and if manu, and stephen jackson step up in the playoffs..

La: Win 98-72....Loss 103-105.... we won the first la w/out shaq though... 2nd game we lost with the lakers' miracle 4th... I dont see how the lakers are soo confident either, especially losing a lot of games to the big teams in the west.
won3 lost 6

LA record against big teams:
SA Loss 81-87 Loss 88-95 Loss 95-103 Loss 89-98
SAC Loss 99-107 Win 124-113 Loss 99-105
DAL Loss 72-98 Win 105-103
won 2 lost 7
I understand that they are the champs and they can and will compete for a title, but some of you laker fans are toooo confident maybe arrogant.( not all of you most of you have been cool)..If the real shaq comes back then soo will the lakers.. I dont care how much kobe scores it will not help them in the playoffs with tough defenders on him..

kings rec against big teams:
sa: Win 104-80...Loss 81-83...Loss 101-104...Loss 100-108
la: Win 105-99...Loss 113-124...Win 107-99...
dal: Win 123-94...Win 110-109...Win (OT) 126-124...Loss (OT) 123-129
won 6-lost 5
sac isnt exactly invincible either.. but they have fared pretty well...

soo yes the mavs havent fared well with the tough teams in the west however, lots of game could have gone either way.. should be good in the playoffs..

Yeah, good stats DP, and I also liked to add, that, Laker fans your boy Kobe is stupid and selfish, he didn't have to take all those shots when he has the big fella, he's wearing himself out before the playoffs come!!! That's how you have poor performances come playoff time, wearing yourself out!! He can also end up injured doing this. Just let the big man throw it down Kobe!!!

yea i think kobe needs to be distributing the ball more. He is soo good that he can score like he does, but for the lakers to be dominant again, they need to go to the Big MAN! shaq.. SHaq is what will take the lakers to the title if they win, but I wouldnt be surprised to see kobe go nutz in the playoffs..

scoring 42points in one half is stupid and selfish!? By the way, he only shot 19 times.

i think he had a great game... it was nutz how he was making everything. But I just dont think that will work in the playoffs with the defense that going to be put on him.. Shaq has to be involved in the offense more as the days get close to the post season..
