It's way to early to think about this but

You know how Sunday Night Football on NBA has flex schedules. It's a kickass idea that allows preseason surprise teams a shot at primetime later in the season

It's a 4 answer poll. Would it be a good idea if ABC did a national flex schedule effective after the All Star Break.

Not familiar with this, can you elaborate?
When I was just a little boy
I asked my father what would he be
Is he like Wrighty, or Titi henry?
Here’s what he said to me
oh Vela Vela, our Mexican superstar
    He’s better than Lou Saha
    oh Vela Vela…

For example right now there's probably no Hawks games scheduled to be on TV they're 6-1 so if they wre to continue like this people would want to see them. The flex schedule would allow them to put like a Hawks/Knicks game in there in place of say,Spurs/Mavs if they continue down their current losing paths and the Hawks/Knicks keep doing decent. At the start of the season Spurs/Mavs would seem like a premire match up but if by the time the game comes on if they're both 22-29 and the Hawks/Knicks are 36-15 then obviously it would be much better to air that game.

NBA has always had flex scheduling. They often change games/times weeks or months ahead of time but they do change the national TV games all the time. Especially late in the year.

So to answer it has already been done!
