I almost responded to this. Instead, I'll just put forth the idea that we resist answering every Kobe issue with a Lebron comment or vice versa, answering Lebron comments with Kobe. Bad enough every "best player" or "MVP" discussion eventually turns into Kobe vs. Lebron.

I dont see anything wrong with his choice... shoot I'd love to play with bean too. I'd actually love to see them play together, give the rockets lamar odom so their fans will stop whining about somebody driving to the hole on every play.

I hated that we missed them both playing for team usa, but that was a thought from me, nothing more.

Man, if that happens, I'd be in a dilemma as a fan. I'm a big T-Mac fan but I've never EVER liked the Lakers. Appreciated, yes but like, no.

That would be one crazy lineup though. Would've been nice to see them play together on Team USA back in '04. Too bad they backed-out.

I didn't think you were at all, man. But when I was about to replay, I was thinking "oh this is how it starts". Two reasonable people engage in a reasonable discussion about two great players and then the crazy Bron Tribe and Bean Tribe come out of the wood work to derail yet another topic in the Pro Basketball forum.

I know I can't appeal to the cultists, but I can appeal to the reasonable people.

It's amazing that a good team with a great G and the C people say is the best in the league, isn't even considered a legitimate title contender. There's also a good team there beside those two but they just can't do it. They might go down as one of those great teams to never win a title. Something like the Utah Jazz of Stockton and Malone or Barkley's Phoenix.
