Re: Should Cleveland trade LeBron James next summer?
Gretzky didnt get traded because he was going to leave though he got traded for a totally different reason that wasnt even related to hockeyAs Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"Comment

I agree 100 percent I feel the same about Bosh, no way these guys are passing up the money think about it, they are already part of winning culture these guys arent going anywhere, There own teams can offer them the most money, they aint passing it up.plus LBJ and CB4 have very very good players around them with more to come NYK isnt really a good team right now I think they look at both teams and think what team is best for winning a ring and well the teams they are with are the ones to stick with.Handshakes at sunriseComment

Re: Should Cleveland trade LeBron James next summer?
Instead of trading LeBron why not trade some of the other players to bring LeBron some help?
The reason why I say that is because Bron has been saying he wants to play for a contender and win multiple NBA championships. I'm not saying the Cavs are not a contender but right now I don't think the Cavs can't beat Boston in a playoff series.
The Knicks have shown Bron that they really want him and another superstar and thats why he is considering them. If the Cavs show Bron that they are committed to bringing him that missing piece to get them over the top then I don't think he'll leave Cleveland.
The Cavs can't trade for a superstar because they don't have the pieces to trade for a superstar."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

It doesn't have to be a superstar. It has to be that one missing piece that will get Cleveland over the top. It could be a solid role player to bring off the bench over a solid defender to guard perimeter players but something that will put them in the same league as Boston and the Lakers.Comment

It'll take more than that to put them in the same league as those two.#RespectTheCultureComment

They've already done that this year. Does the name Mo Williams ring a bell. Thats still not enough to beat a Boston or LA in a 7 game series."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Mo Williams is a great addition to Cleveland but Mo is not enough to help LeBron beat Boston or LA in a playoffs series. Cleveland is still a few pieces short.
All I'm saying is that if Cleveland wants LeBron to stay then they need to ask him what does he think they need to do to be a championship contender.
If LeBron feels Cleveland needs to bring in a certain type of player then Cleveland needs to do that...only if they want LeBron to stay.Comment

So in other words, make LeBron the GM?#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Should Cleveland trade LeBron James next summer?
Yeah pretty much.
I know it might sound crazy for a 23 or 24 year old to have that type of pull but honestly he has earned it in Cleveland.
LeBron is arguably the best player in the league right now and he still 3 or 4 years away from really reaching his potential. Cleveland needs to do whatever it takes to keep him in a Cavs uniform.Comment
