Theres still time to jump ship.

I'm going to miss the Mamba owning Bell though.
He's going to score a bazillion points on Richardson. Maybe they like Barnes' defensive ability?

As a Bobcats fan, I never thought J-Rich was that great. He is a TERRIBLE defender....just terrible. He also took way too many jumpshots and never looked to get his teammates(Okafor) involved in the game. Gerald Wallace was the much more effective player out of the two.

That said, I don't know why we would give him up for so little. I wanted Kaman really, really bad for J-Rich. I think we're entering the lottery sweepstakes.

I think that is an understatement.

This is a pretty clear tank job here. Which is funny, because when Larry Brown is your coach and you're on pace for a top five pick, you're in big trouble.

....and I can't find Boris' game-winner in 2006 against the Mavs.

Thank you Raja, for being the heart of this team. You gave the edge and warrior attitude to a team that had absolutely none. Kerr traded the glue of this team last year, and he's now traded the heart. Even though you're getting older and not what you once were, you'll still be one of my favorite Suns of all-time, even though you're dirty flopping punk.

As for Boris, well, we knew what you could be in 2006 when Amare was out and you couldn't have the balls to do it again in 06-07 or 07-08. Thanks for those two moments mentioned up there, because they were the only times your balls dropped and you actually did something instead of pass up an open shot or an open layup.

As for Jason Richardson....I'm not sure how I feel about this. I mean, from a b-ball standpoint it's great, but I'm generally unfamiliar with him since he got traded to Charlotte. How's his athleticism still, character, shooting ability, defense? Does he attack the basket a lot? Will he mesh with what we have there now, which is a stripped down version of Amare and Nash, and tubby in the middle?

As a warrior fan i will cosign that terrible defense angle.

                  because truly he was awful.

but I dont think his role on the bobcats was to be a playmaker , and rightfully so, because he isnt hes still one of the only sg's in the NBA that can't dribble. therefore i never really seen him getting okafor () involved.

btw Okafor stinks as an offensive option, dude has hands that are made out of mallets and plaster

his bounce is no longer what it used to be since that knee surgery, but he can still rebound.

PHX needed a slasher who could shoot and DRIVE for years now and they finally added it

As for the Cats they are the leagues pit stop for getting what they want

PHX looks better and more interesting now

I will defend MJ to the death about him being the GOAT on the court.

On the other hand, he has got to be the worst GM, VP, talent evaluator, etc, etc, etc....like......ever. Does he seriously smoke up before he makes his front office decisions??

You might be right, but the Bobcats are very effective when they get him going. Problem is...between Felton, J-Rich, and Morrison, 80% of the time he never gets a chance. At least Felton is a good defender at the PG position. Morrison is on his way out next IMO.

The thing that worries me most is, who the hell is going to play defense in this supposed "new regime" that that bastard Kerr is trying to hoist onto us? Who's our defender going to be? Yes, Raja lost a step but he was still our perimeter defender. For a guy who gets excitement when the word defense is mentioned, he's certainly done his share in stripping the team of its' defenders. Kurt Thomas, Shawn Marion, James Jones, and now Raja. All gone. And Boris' versatility down low made him a pretty darn good defender down low too.

The bottom line on this is that it looks good for Phoenix on paper, but it's Steve Kerr we're talking about. I can't think of one positive move he's made since becoming the general manager. Not one.

So I guess MJ owed his buddy Kerr a favor.

That's the only reason I can think of.
