As a Laker fan, and a Celtic *****, honestly, I haven't noticed how big of a jerk KG really is. Thanks, I guess

Hugely biased video, but it shows a lot of the reasons that people say these things about Garnett. Don't think it was already posted...Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: So why wasn't Garnett given a technical for barking like a dog?
I certainly don't hate the guy... that interview with John Thompson is still one of the best pieces of b-ball journalism ever and I like the passion he plays with. But like others have said, there's an undercurrent of complete dickishness that sort of ruins a lot of the good things about KG for me.
But the bigger issue is how inconsistant the league is with calling technical fouls and enforcing the rules in general -- there's no way that KG should be intentionally crawling on all fours or screaming and clapping in the face of an opponent and not get a technical, for example. It just undermines the integrity of the entire league to have stuff like that tolerated from certain players and not others. If Sheed did that, he'd never hear the end of it, and nobody would have been saying "oh, he's just so intense, what a wonderful competitor!"... I hate double standards in the league.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: So why wasn't Garnett given a technical for barking like a dog?
Name three times Paul Pierce has faked an injury. Hell, name a time you think he faked an injury aside from what you believe game 1 of the nba finals last year.
Also, what point are you guys trying to prove with this continuous anti-KG crap? It's quite clear you don't have anything positive to say about the guy. I don't remember who, but you were initially complaining about him because you were saying you just want the reffing to be "consistent." Now it's naming everything he does wrong. It's clear most of you guys don't like KG. I hate Rip Hamilton and I think he's a dirty player. I might just go ahead and post a video of how he always gets away with dirty plays and constant grabbing. Last year in the playoffs right before he injured his arm against the Celtics (this was definitely karma) instead of trying to guard Ray Allen, he put his hand around Ray's neck and choked him during the inbound.

The point is, you guys are going out of your way to point out anything you can against KG. I didn't have a problem with this at the beginning, but as a Celtics fan, seeing this go on for weeks now, is really frustrating. Let it go. He's a basketball player, and there aren't any other players complaining about it. Maybe one or two. But you sensitive fans won't stop ranting about how much of a *****/trashtalker/punk he is. Let it go...holy ****.Comment

You wanna talk about Rip being a punk, go make a thread about that, and then you and all the people that don't like Rip can joyously hate on the guy.Name three times Paul Pierce has faked an injury. We're talking about KG, and refereeing because we see it, time and time again from the guy, and we think something should be done about it. It's also a nice topic because KG went from a passionate, strong, well liked guy, to one of the most hated, trash talking, taunting, basically b1tich-players in the league over the summer, and the league has done nothing to reprimand him.
Its a good topic, you can add to it, or go read another thread. Don't tell people what's worthy of discussion or not.Comment

Re: So why wasn't Garnett given a technical for barking like a dog?
See, that's where you're wrong, and you completely disregarded my point. It was initially about refereeing, and it has escalated to everything he does wrong.Comment

Re: So why wasn't Garnett given a technical for barking like a dog?
Well read the title, it's about Garnett...
It wasn't "why aren't people getting technicals for taunting", it's about KG. And it has continued to be about KG because he has done numerous other things he should have been T-d up for, but hasn't.
Thus it turned into a "KG is a punk, but the NBA doesn't care" topicComment

Re: So why wasn't Garnett given a technical for barking like a dog?
LOL Moses I think you're showing that you're the sensitive fan. Your boy brings it on himself.
1. Why did you bring up RIP being dirty? Nobody claimed KG was dirty. Merely that he's a clown, and the NBA never T's him up for his antics.
2. Like someone brought up earlier, maybe KG was doing all this nonsense in Minny, but they were never on TV. Now that he's in the spotlight, the world gets to put him under a microscope.
3. Hate comes with winning. Comes with the territory.Comment
