I think Green is gone. I think they'll play him but trade him. He's more useful as potential+trade bait than he is with Durant. He's not a great compliment. I think if they traded him straight up for rebounding roleplayers right now, they'd start winning more games. But they still have depth issues, etc. Play him, sign him, trade him.

Shoot, forget them, My wizards almost have the same record as them. This the worse i've seen the washington bullets/wizards play. I hope WE can win 20 games, forget the Thunder.

Green and Durant do a lot of the same things I guess, but I think they should hold onto him... not many PFs around who are that versatile while still being good defenders. If they get a legit big in the draft, they'd really just need a SG (I assume they see Westbrook as a PG for the future) and they'd be pretty set for a while.

I think Green is a little too small for PF. If they get a legit sized PF, they could put together a VERY long, rangy defensive team. Kevin Durant will improve on defense. He has good shotblock instincts and will likely mature into a serious weakside threat, and he won't be a major liability on P&R switching. With his shooting range and overall versatility, they need rebounding and somebody to throw that outlet pass.

Not that Green isn't a good player. In fact, it's BECAUSE he's a good player that he can yield something sweet in a trade. Imagine Durant and Bosh? Far fetched right now, but just sayin'...

I think one of the few teams Griffin would really excel on would be the Thunder. He would get tons of minutes, and Durant at the SF would help make up for the lack of size they might have across the board.

The Thunder are putting together the pieces. I keep thinking they're an expansion team, when in reality they were a real NBA squad last year. Their roster reminds me of the Bobcats rag-tag teams a few years back.

yeah once again. i agree with born.
i dont think green and durant will work as a combo long term.
he is valuable trade bait and they could use him to get a good rebounding/defending legit PF or C.
the thunder have some nice trade bait.
but a frontcourt of green and durant, well being versatile, is too small. greens natural position is SF. as is durant. its not going to work long term with these 2. greens growth will be stunted as long as he has to play out of position and defend bigger stronger players.
i think green should be traded.
