If you haven't already, you really must listen to Bill Simmons' recent interview with David Stern. Simmons does a brilliant job of fending off Stern's various jabs, and got him to talk specifically about things like his favorite owners, the heartbreak in Seattle and Vancouver, and a lot more.

I liked that Stern admitted that the NBA made a mistake with Vancouver. Not in choosing the city, but in the way the franchise was handled. I also liked that he did want to leave Seattle.
However, he lied when he said the Thunder's owners wanted to keep the team in Seattle. Those guys were looking to move the team OKC the whole time (there were even e-mails presented in court that proved it). Howard Schultz, the last owner of the Sonics, should take most of the blame for selling to a group that was so obviously fixated on getting a team for OKC.Comment
