I mean I still think the KG stuff is overhyped... this is just how the guy is. I don't think he means anything by it and it literally is just how he gets himself hyped. He IS more way more intense than mostly every other player in the league, so he needs fuel for that. I've learned it's just how the guy is, I wouldn't classify it as classless, more like out of his mind lol.

He needs to fuel his intensity by yelling at fans and barking at PGs half his size? If that's the case, maybe he needs to calm down and not so intense.

And yes, I am a Jazz fan, sweettouch. You rarely ever see a Jazz player get into with a fan, another player, or the referees. So, with that, when I see another player (with KG being the example this year), taunting fans, other players, aruging with officals every play, I lose a bit of respect for them. Just shut up and let your game speak for it's self.

To answer your question, yes I think he really does need to do that stuff to hype himself up. He does it in practice too. The guy is legit nuts.

Look, I really dislike Boston. I dislike their fans, players, everything. However, the Pistons and Wizards are both higher on my hate list.

Yea, for me to get pumped up I call people "******* ******s" at work and at the gym as well.

You telling me when you lift you don't get angry? That's the only way to get a great workout. KG gets angry at his competition and then goes all out. It makes sense if you think about it. Not justifying it just saying.

LOL not even a small name player is bringing it up....thats my point. All these supposed "victims" KG has picked on have never said a word about it. Not even the teamates KG werent getting along with have said anything about how he acts on the court. Itd be like KG weighing in on a mod issue here on OS lol....

I do not dislike teams and players for exceptional skill...I have no reason to be jealous of any team. I dislike ignorant and stuck up players who do not show respect towards the game of basketball. KG needs to realize that he is blessed and should feel proud of what he has done, but not this proud.

The difference between guys like Oden and Roy to KG is thousands of miles apart. Just leave Oden out of the topic because he has no fully adapted his personality and concentrate on Roy. Roy is 2x the man KG could ever be...Part of that is a fanboy talking and the larger part is common sense. Ray Allen is a good guy I love the guy...Roy is a great guy...Those are the players who deserve respect while KG's arrogance would sadly make a injury seem just.

Well, there is no assurance that Roy won't become arrogant once we can win a title with him leading the team. People change (to better or worse) especially when they are at the top of the world. When KG was in MIN, his barks are called too much intensity. In BOS as a defending champion, it is arrogance. Maybe now Roy is percieve as a guy with great demeanor, but once he becomes a champion it (maybe) can be interpreted as arrogance or overconfidence.

But then again, I have a feeling that you will be defending Roy the way BOS (or KG) fans defend KG on his actions.

If you remember, Duncan was once called a player with great fundamental skills and demeanor. When he became one of the most dominant player in this era, his fundamental skills was called boring (no entertainment whatsoever), his great demeanor was used against him like a criminal. He was called lifeless and no emotion.

Nothing. However if POR was the defending champion with Roy leading the team, that will be interpreted as unsportsmanlike (spelling?) conduct.
