I know Boston is playing out of thier mind, but for some reason I just have a hunch this is going to happen. Call it a gut feeling, but I can see this happening.

I feel the same. I think Lebron is going to go bonkers vs. Boston in the Eastern Conference finals.

What's happening with the Celtics happens quite a lot actually. After a succesful or very good run in the playoffs, the year after they do very well in the regular season then stutter in the playoffs. You saw it with the Pistons a couple years ago, then the Mavericks a few years after, once they had their finals appearance did extremely well in the season then messed up against the Warriors. I don't know why, but I feel like this can happen with the Celtics.

I've seen every Cavs game this year and I predict the same thing. I think they have a shot to win it all this year.

Celtics are a different team this year than they were last year,
their success is based on their schedule; their location and their
chemistry. Its still too early in the season to say its Lakers vs Celtics at the end of the year.

I'm a Lakers fan, have been since I was born actually (in july of 1984) but I'm not so sure about counting in the Lakers as a for
sure thing in the Finals.

There are alot of injured guys out there who will be 100% by the end of the season, these guys could give the Lakers a run for their money in the western playoffs.

I think this year is unpredictable, I honestly don't know who is gonna win it all by the end of the year. Lakers chances are good
as well as the Cavs but this season feels reminiscent of the 80's except its all offense and defense is what is lacking.

You can't honestly say any of the Jordan wannabes (Kobe, LeBron, Dwade) are dominant enough to make this predictable, if they had
Jordan's defensive prowess I'd agree but they all don't have Jordan's stoping power combined let alone individually so they can
change their destiny.

To many players want to be Jordan offensivley, why don't some of these clowns try to be Jordan on defense.

I think the Pistons may shock someone. Even if not with a win, with a 7 game series that changes the following match up. It's just one of those things. Iverson is one of those players that can ruin the logic of basketball if his team plays D.

The Hawks are my pick to ruin the finals that everyone wants. They are one of the few teams that seems to really step up when they play the Celtics and they always play them close, even when they were missing players. Them and the Magic are the teams that nobody thinks about but could be EXTREMELY deadly in a playoff series because they have balanced attacks and can kill you from inside or outside along with stars that can get red hot at any time.

good call on the hawks and the magic. The hawks played the Lakers tough last year also.
