A. He's the best dunker in the NBA system
B. He's been preparing for a dunk contest while I doubt Alexander hasComment

Re: 2009 Slam Dunk Contest
Haha, Bird is awesome... he and JR always put on a show in warmups. One of the best parts about arriving early to Nuggets games. Throwing off the glass to eachother, JR's behind-the-back dunk from the contest, 360s.. good times.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: 2009 Slam Dunk Contest
It's funny that you mention JR, because he's the replacement.
James White would be nice, but it is the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, and he hasn't played in the NBA at all this year. Anyone can find someone who's more suitable if you expand the field, but it's against the rules.
So get out your chalk. It's going to be Dwight Howard over Nate Robinson in the finals. JR Smith and Rudy Fernandez are destined to go two-and-out. I will be shocked if it goes otherwise.Comment

Re: 2009 Slam Dunk Contest
Nate and Dwight will coast to the finals... hopefully Nate does something good. I don't care for him, but I want to see a show. That 360 in his video was great.
By the way, Nate Robinson is #270 in the NBA for in-game dunks this season... he has 2. He is behind nearly every other player who gets playing time, and Wally Szczerbiak.
