Just Got Back From Watching The And 1 Street Ballers

I must say I came away impressed. Going into I didn't think they'd live up to the hype. That dude Bone Collector was a man among boys. Also, Headache, White Chocolate, Sic-wid-it, Bird Man, and Springz was putting on a show. The announcer guy said that Bone Collector is the MVP of the "Rucker League" in NY. Can someone from NY give me some info on this league? Is it the one that gets play on NBA TV in the summer time?

They really got the crowd into it. They were down here in the Memphis area tonight and played in front of a big crowd at the Civic Center. Brevin Knight of the Grizzlies was there tonight also.

Last night I was at the Grizzlies/Spurs game, tonight this game, tomorrow night the Lakers are in town, and Saturday morning I'm driving to Atlanta to catch the Grizzlies/Hawks.

Lucky bastard, wish i could see some live nba games

Did the and1 ballers stuff up as much as they pulled off sick [censored]? I mean when you watch the vids its usually just highlights, i'm interested to see what percentage of the moves they try actually come off in a game situation.

Where did they play?? I heard NOTHING about this event on the radio or anywhere. Yes, the Rucker League is the one on NBA TV in the summers. AKA, "Entertainers basketball classic"

The game was at the Desoto Civic Center in Southaven. There were commercials for it on K97 and Hot 107.

I got my tickets at the Desoto Center box office and I'm a season ticket holder with the Memphis Grizzlies. My girlfriend has been wanting to get out of town for the longest, so I decided since the Grizzlies are in Atlanta Saturday night and it's only 5 hours away why not.

The Rucker League is the one that is on NBA TV each summer. The bone collector is the typical street baller (incredible scorer, doesnt pass, cant play D), thats why he kills people at the the Rucker but is inconsistent at other levels.

Speaking of And 1, I used to play with Hot Sauce at the Run and Shoot in Atlanta when he was just a teenager. That kid was nice back then.

i have seen the and 1 ballers play a few times as well as the pure game street ballers in philly...and the tapes are all highlights....the games that i have seen for the most part were ok and they consisted of only a few highlights(more misses than hits)....it was like watching the globe trotters...i usually leave early because it gets pretty boring, once or twice when it got serious and they stopped tryin' to do all of the tricks and decided to play some real ball it got pretty interesting.
