To me it's Brandon Roy. His game is so complete and soo smooth. I can see him redifineing the SG position.

Re: Who has the most promise?
Well I highly doubt Roy will redefine the position. I think Durant is going to come up in this thread the most though. He's only 20 and is good for around 24, 6 and 3. He still has so much room for his game and his body to grow. Roy is going to be great but I don't think he has as much room for growth as Durant.PS: You guys are great.

Re: Who has the most promise?
I'm with trob... Durant is a player that will redefine his position, is younger and less developed than Roy (leaving him more room for improvement) and already has a ton of talent. In three years I see Durant being just as good or better than Roy.Comment

Name me other 6'10" shooting guards who effectively played in the league. (Jared Jeffries does not count)

Probably a big reason he's putting up such nice numbers.Comment

Re: Who has the most promise?
I gotta go with Derrick Rose. Once he gets a consistent jumpshot and expand his range to the 3 point line nobody will be able to guard him and he'll be a top 3 point guard in the league. Plus he's a solid defender right now and that's only going to improve.Comment

Re: Who has the most promise?
I think D.J. Augustin is going to surprise a lot of people. Although he is undersized, he is very quick off the dribble, and he can shoot very well. Also, he has one of the best FT% in the league right now. Many people don't get to see him because he plays in a small market, but he is going to be a good player for many years in the Association.Last edited by LingeringRegime; 01-17-2009, 12:54 PM.Comment

Re: Who has the most promise?
Roy is outstanding. But wont redifine the position. Neither will Durant who hasnt done anythang along the lines of winning games or making his team any better for that matter. Durant is going to be like Dominque Wilkins somewhat. A scorer of epic proportions with no rings for his troubles. Roy has the better chance of winning chips.
Rose was a good mention. I thank his potential is unlimited.
He plays winning basketball. He looks for teamates 1st.
Mayo is going to be a real force but i dont know if he wins anythang either.
Roy is the best out of these players. Now and Future. The voice of reality.Comment

Already is IMO.
I was thinking the same thing myself. Great player...but uh, 'redefine'...?
