    F$%$ Allen Iverson

Back in December I made a trip to Charlotte to see the Bobcats host the Pistons. So im listening to the local radio and they are advertising a party at some club hosted by Allen Iverson. This man is more concered with hosting parties the night before the game then the game itself. I have 0 respect for his career numbers.

You put this guy with T.O. in the bin of players that I wish would just retire and give it up.

LoL at Iverson ever believing his own hype. The man shoots so horrid from the field, never developed a jumper, never really played defense, never found a way to make team-mates better, never set the tone for the team, never learned how to be a leader. This man has just as much if not more natural talent then any small guard of all time. He will be in the Hall of Fame but as far as my book he is not a Legend. He is so grossly over-rated!

Detriot would be best to bench this guy, if he doesnt like that they need to trade him out of there quick. Mark my words if Allen Iverson finishes this season with Detriot they will miss the playoffs or lose in the 1st round. Guaranteed...The sooner this guy retires the better.

Marbury and Iverson are of the same cloth. They do no wrong, they both believe they are the best players on the floor and they arent even close. Neither has any grasp of what it takes to WIN!

.....haha...ok.....im done venting....come on in Iverson fan boys and tell me why you are wasting your time cheering this LOSER on and he defines the word LOSER

Lots of NBA players host parties -- yes, sometimes the night before a game. Most NBA players wake up around Noon, even on game days, and especially on road trips. If you think that a prime-time athlete can't sleep off a night of booze (yeah, he shouldn't go get completely ****faced the day before a game, you have no evidence he did) and get ready for a game at 7:00 the following night, I don't know what to tell you.

Secondly, every teammate that AI's ever had loves him. The guy busts his *** every night, plays through injuries, and has basically carried every team he's ever been on except for the last 2 years of his career. Say what you want about his unrealized potential, but he's always in great shape, led the league in MPG for most of his career, hasn't had any significant injury problems, and gets PUNISHED night in and night out -- I think it's fair to say that he cares enough about his body to stay healthy, and if partying was affecting him, he hasn't shown it thoughout his career.

I knew you fanboys would arrive and defend this scum.

Every player that has ever played with Iverson hasnt been a winner either so they wouldnt mind their best player skipping practice and refusing to be a REAL leader. Carmello's growth was being stunted by Iverson. I bet the Pistons wont give this guy a glaring refrence when he finally gets out of detriot. Hamilton is a winner. Prince is a winner. Even wallace is more of a dependible player than Iverson.

You guys talk about having fun. This guy is at the end of his career, on the best team he has been on in his career and the last chance he has to win a title is now and he is "having fun"...he should be studying tapes and figuring out how he can help this team go to the next level. HE GETS PAID ENOUGH TO CHANGE HIS ATTITUDE DONT YOU THANK. Yeah he plays through injuries. But i never questioned his toughness. I question his desire to WIN. He doesnt put in extra time in the practice sessions....hell PRACTICE!!!.....come on we all know how he feels about practice.. I Guess its too much to ask a Player who hasnt won a damn thing in his career to show up for practice. I guess he needs a raise.. The more I think of this guy the more of a disgrace he becomes

I think it is more that you HATE Iverson than anything else. First off this Detroit isn't that good and hasn't been that good for a couple of years now. This current team that they have now isn't much better than the Denver team the past couple of years and that is a first round exit. As far as the whole club thing goes you have to realize that 9 out of 10 times when a players name is mentioned about the party it for the club bringing in more people and more money. Most of the time they guys don't even show up and when they do it like at 2 or 3 am an hour before the club closes. They show there face, pop a bottle or two, and out the door they go. To say is hasn't lead or done anything is just HATE. They man took an average at best 76ers team to the Finals and keep them in contention year after year. You look at that 76ers team and tell me they are anything more than a bunch of so so at best players and Iverson. Yeah the Denver thing didn't work out but Karl deserves as much blame as anybody on that one. Iverson has done nothing but left his heart and soul out there on the court. If he was so bad then again why do all of his teamates love him??

I won't bash Iverson but he could have seriously increased his versatility by learning better defense. Only knock against him I'll mention.

Wow, you sir have issues.......Everthing you said is very false....also hosting a party is nothing more than just sponsering, he prolly wasn't even there that long....BTW the Nuggets won 50+ game last year despite not having Nene and a banged up Martin, how is that bad? They got sweep by a better team who also went to the finals.....Sixers, despite having a roster full of back ups stayed in the playoffs...his "bad defense" is a overrated comment, the bul is like 5'11 170 playing against guards who are atleast 6'4 200 not to mention he plays injured...
