    Chris Bosh Trade Scenarios

Seeing as how Amar'e has one, lets have one for Bosh as well .

According to Screamin' A Smith (lol yeah, not the best source I know), Bosh has informed the Raps that he won't resign in 2010, and that Miami and Dallas would be likely landing spots for Bosh. Some NY fans want him moved for David Lee and Al Harrington.

Anyone see him getting traded before free agency?

    That depends.

If any player tells his team he is absolutely going to test the FA market, then it would be irresponsible for that team to keep them if they have no hope for a Championship.
    Too Old To Game Club

If....and that's a big IF this story is true. You must move CB right away. IF not this season, over the summer for sure. Maybe to Miami and the Raps get Beasley and pieces in return ???

MAybe a Bosh + Kapono for Beasley & Marion. (Im not even sure if those salaries match ??)

Well.......Brian Colangelo was quick to shoot down this story.

Bottom line: Losing will bring this kind of "news" no matter what and it wont stop unless the Raps turn it around next season and get CB some help or until CB really ask's for a trade and gets dealt. So, this 'news" is probably one of many more to come....

Hasnt Bargnani stepped hsi game up?... theres potential there, and Bosh clearly doesnt want to play there anymore...

Set that man free and get some picks and young talent.

Bosh himself pretty much shutdown the ramblings of Stephan A. Smith himself after practice. If the Raps can retool for next season and have a good season I can see CB possibly staying. But another train wreck like this year and he's gone. But to say at this point of time that Bosh is fed up and wants to bolt is a little premature at this point.

(PS: The video of CB after practice is on raptors.com right now (for those who care to watch it.)

Stephen A. Smith of ESPN created a big controversy on Sunday by indicating that Chris Bosh has told the Raptors that he will depart the club via free agency in 2010.

The claims were denied by Bosh and general manager Bryan Colangelo.

"In case anyone didn't comprehend what I reported first on ESPNews Sunday morning, then SportsCenter Monday night, let me be clear: My sources tell me Chris Bosh wants out of Toronto," writes Smith. "Preferably before 2010, when he's free to opt out of his contract. They've also informed me Bosh has quietly made the Raptors aware of this, that he wouldn't mind interest from Miami or Dallas, at all, and that he's hopeful his days as a Raptor will come to an end sooner than when the LeBron James' Sweepstakes hits the fan in 2010.

"Essentially, these things qualify as one of the worse-kept secrets in the NBA.

"Both Bosh and Raptors' President, Bryan Colangelo have emphatically denied Bosh has made the Raptors aware of anything. Feel free to believe them if you want to. And while you're at it, feel free to to conveniently forget that Damon Stoudamire, Marcus Camby, Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter all echoed similar sentiments before they skipped town, too."

I just read that on the power rankings this week. This time last week Kerr was saying how his team os strong because of chemistry and no move is needed, then 4 days later gets Shaq. In addition, Cuban was saying it was ludicrous that he was going after Kidd, and look what happened a mere two weeks later...So you never know I guess..

Stoudamire was set to re-sign until his boy Isiah Thomas skipped town, then he asked for a trade.

Camby was dealt before his rookie contract even expired after feuding with Butch Carter.

Vince actually re-signed. He asked for a trade more than 2 years after re-upping his contract for a variety of reasons.

Tracy is the only legit example out of those 4 and his situation is totally different from Bosh's. Tracy never wanted to leave home from day 1, whereas Bosh has embraced the city of Toronto and the Raptors organization.

                      SAS has zero credibility.

With that said, I wouldn't be against dealing Bosh if the right deal came along.

Non-protected pick in 2009, a good young starter, filler for salary purposes and a protected pick in 2011.
