    The Clippers

How are they so bad? The Magic were up on them by almost 40 last night, and they're on a 7 game losing streak. They're 2-21 in their last 23 games.

You'd think a roster of Baron Davis, Ricky Davis, Eric Gordon, Al Thornton, Zach Randolph, Marcus Camby and Chris Kaman could do better than 10-39 (tied for dead last with the Washington Wizards).

While injuries have effected them, there are certainly teams out there with worse players in worse locations who are outplaying these guys. It seems like a lack of shooters, perimeter defense and team chemistry... but shouldn't they have more than 10 wins based on talent alone?

    Re: The Clippers

Injuries causing a lack of chemistry. Even though they haven't all been out for extended periods like the Jazz or someone, they haven't had more than a few games where all of the major pieces are playing and healthy. Early in the year, it was Randolph shouldering the load, then it became Camby (when he was putting up those 20/20 games) and Gordon, and now they're trying to work everyone back in... Baron and especially Ricky Davis have been downright horrible for them all year though.

Hate to say it but a compilation of all of these things are right and its really pathetic, but when you remember that its the Clips then things seem normal.

They've always had talent and sucked except when LB came to LA...

That said, I laughed when I heard someone say Dunleavy would be let go as coach. Why is that funny? Well because he is the freaking GM too

well there's ur answer its because they have all of these players with the mind set of daequan cook and a coach that cant control them and their attention span...the older players absolutely dont pay attention to him...he should have been fired 10 games into the season its absurd that he still has a job when all of these other coaches are being fired

Exactly and so is marcus camby and so is eric gordon...and really gordon is the best rookie in this class and if it wasn't for cuttino mobley sudden heart problems we wouldn't be seing this guy play because dunleavy isn't a good coach...PERIOD

He looked better when he was a knick.

The Clippers have the talent but not the cohesion, its time to clean out the house. Get rid of the coach, trade camby to the cavs, trade b.diddy and randolph for some young talent or picks. Pray to god you get the first pick so you can select Blake Griffin.

                      Re: The Clippers

It starts with the owner, down to the management on down to the coach and finally to the players. They're not excited about the game anymore. I mean EVERYONE. You just don't see the passion, the fun.

Once Diddy gets back healthy it'll improve, but they need to figure out who is really dedicated to bringing the franchise back to respectability.

Diddy and Thornton for sure. Gordon probably. Other than that, they need to start over. Stop taking on bad contracts and me-first/contract players. Get rid of Dunleavy.

I don't see anything improving until new management/ownership comes in.

It's weird, man I remember a few years back with Brand...people actually thought they could make some noise in the playoffs...it seems like this was decades ago to me though.

I think they need to trade Baron. He's not going to be interested in playing there, they are nowhere close to being a contender and he's just not going to give his best effort every night for them. Only reason he went in the first place because he though Brand/him/Kaman would be a good trio but Brand bolted and Kaman's been hurt a lot along with Baron.

I don't know that team right now seems beyond repair.

woah woah the kid had a few decent games but lets not go crazy just yet (There are guys called Rose, Mayo, Oden and Beasley that might have something to say about that)....

Having Kaman out really hurt this team badly but like others have mentioned the whole culture of the organisation is not geared towards winning. From the owner, to the GM/coach to players they have brought in the whole mentality just reeks of selfishness, greed and a me first attitude. As someone who's been a fan of the Clipps since the Danny Manning / Ron Harper days it's easy to see that the Clippers will be mired in mediocrity as long as Donald Sterling owns the team and that's not about to change anytime soon unfortunately.
