thank God Dallas turned that down. Davis has a 6 year, $65 million contract. That is a Marbury like deal, and has had injury problems everywhere he's been...and Kaman has had chronic injury problems recently also.

Kidd >> Davis right now.....and for the future, the Mavs are trying to clear cap space, not get in cap trouble.

Yea great win for the Bulls. You guys should be a great team in a few years. Derrick Rose is something special...

Anyway, right now it's looking like the Nets and Bulls are the two teams with the best shot at getting the last Playoff spot in the East. They're only a few games out. And although the Knicks, Pacers, and Bobcats are right there as well...they're all pretty inconsistent. The Pacers can beat great teams night in and night out, but then they go out and lose to the Wizards or Timberwolves....plus I don't think anyone on that team knows what the definition of defense is. The Knicks were just 4 games under .500 like a week ago, now they've lost 5 straight. And the Bobcats were looking good after their overtime win over LA....but then they went out and lost 5 straight before beating the Clippers on Monday.

So who knows how everything will turn out. Realistically the 8th spot in the East is wide open, but I only see two teams that are legitimate contenders for that last spot...i don't see any other team snagging the last spot except the Bulls or Nets. And I know the Bucks are right there, I just don't see how they can keep it going down the stretch without Redd and Bogut.

I completely forgot about Davis' contract.

Either way, I still feel like Davis and Kaman would make the Mavs a sick team and could make a lot of noise in the West.

The first call was questionable. The second was easily the biggest makeup call I've ever seen, LeBron barely touched Granger.

Great game, but man was it tough to see Red Kerr lookin like that...it was only a few months ago he was helpin out with the broadcast and looked much better...must've been one of the greatest nights in his life though.

See I saw the opposite. The first call looked like a great play by Granger on the ball with Lebron giving a little acting job at the end. The call in OT was questionable, but definitely shouldn't have been called. Either way, the right team won in the end.

Notice that ESPN's coverage of the milestone is exactly the same as it was for Lebron. They just spend more times on single game performances than these kinds of achievements. It wasn't a bias towards Lebron when they mentioned it and moved on. There's no "Kobe 23,000" special, lol. Not even a blurb on ESPN's front page. They are consistent in this regard.

You admit both calls were horrible. End of discussion.

His team got the call. Their team got the call. Him throwing a tantrum over that was deplorable.

No it wasn't. He was talking about his call, So him saying it was horrible is fine by me.

He got the same call the play right before. So there's where my problem comes about.
