From ESPN, this is a nice five minute segment with NBA legend Mark Price on the art of shooting the basketball. I love all the technologies ...
    Concrete evidence/videos please

Rifle-style shooting FTL. Funny they show Ray Ray then talk about keeping the elbow tucked in.

It's always amazing how much more arch the better shooters have on their J. If you watch a pro game and then a college game it's ridiculous, so many flat jump shots at the college level.

What is problematic with that? Are you implying that Howard isn't capable of being a good FT shooter? Or are you implying that any Big man isn't capable of that?

Which is why someone should email this to Dwight, to help him improve.

He may not shoot 90% from the FT line, but he can certainly improve his skills there and raise it to around 80%. He's a young player and can still shape his shooting technique.

Well, some big guys shoot pretty well from the FT line: Amar'e, Yao, Big Z, KG...
I think it's all about hard work. You aren't born that way in my opinion, and Price probably worked hard on it too.

It says that he's a shooting consultant for the Hawks.

I wonder if he just got there because Atlanta is 28th in the league in FT%.
