    Even though knicks cant make the play-offs...

    do you think they still had a good season?

    I say yea because of how mcdyess was out for the whole year and how spree was out for about 10-15 games in the beggining. what you guys think?

        Better than expected, yea. But I still can't call a non playoff season good.

                    yeah they had a nice job. i think they will be in the playoffs next season for sure. by the way nice season by allan houston, he really impressed me, definitely a fierce weapon. pure shooter.

                        Saying they did well because of how they did without McDyess isn't really fair. I mean, it took them Camby and their 1st to get a guy that's been injured for most of the past few seasons. How would they have done with Camby and a good 1st round pick? Probably a bit better than 36-43. Sure, they did well considering McDyess got hurt, but when you trade for the injury prone McDyess before the season began, you brought it on yourselves.

                            Awwww...hell no.
                            You don't have one of the highest Payroll's in the league, not make the playoffs and consider it a good season. As a Knicks fan, it is reality that we are ruined for years to come because of the cap situation. Untradeable contracts. Undesireable players.

                            If you could cut players without taking a cap hit, I would gut half of this team. This is ridiculous. And what in the world are they thinking trying to finish out the season winning. Put Williams, Postell, Knight, Weatherspoon, etc. in the lineup nightly and get as many ping-pong lottery balls as possible.
