    Re: The 2003 All-Overated Team

I thought MVP meant Most Valuable Player to his team? If it means Most Valuable Scorer than I have no problem with that. But Wallace means just as much to the success of his team as a Garnet does.

        Re: The 2003 All-Overated Team

The Hornets are good, I have been to several games this year and they do have a very deep bench, but they have had their injury problems this year.

PG- Baron Davis- Top 15-20 player in the league when he is at the top of his game

SG- David Wesley- He is really too small to be a 2 guard, is a good offensive contributor (especially from behing the arc) but has his defensive problems.

SF- Jamal Mashburn- Is a top 30-35 player in the league, is solid on offense and defense. I was at the game where he scored 50 points. He is a good shooter.

PF- P.J. Brown- Is a solid player who gets a lot of double- doubles and scores a good 10 points every game.

C- Jamaal Maglore- Everyone thinks he is a good young talent but I don't like him. He is decent of defense and rebounding, but all he does on offense is try to bulldoze in low post and he throws up a lot of bricks. He is decent though, he has a lot of good games.

        Bench:

        G- Kenny Anderson- solid player
G- Robert Pack- not very creative but he is athletic
G/F- George Lynch- very good defensive player
F/C- Robert Traylor- would be a beat if he lost about 50-60 lbs.
F/C- Jerome Moiso- Very solid you talent-will get a lot better- look for him in a couple of years to be good.
G- Courtney Alexander- decent- i don't like him very much-not anything great.

I think Magloire is a little better than you give him credit for...He throws up a brick every now and again, but who doesnt? He is shooting 48% from the field this year, so he must be doing something right. He is also 4th in the nba in offensive rebounds. I wish he would be more blocks though. He has some long *** arms.
