Michael Jordan and the Hall of Fame voting

Jordan getting into the hall of fame is about as sure as death and taxes. From my understanding, there are 24 affirmative votes and you need at least 18 to get in. My question to you guys is: will there be anybody on that panel who doesn't give Jordan an affirmative vote?

I got a co-worker who thinks there will be at least one idiot who won't give Jordan a vote. I just don't believe it. What do you guys think?

If anyone does do that then they need thier right to HOF vote revoked instantly and never get the chance to vote again.

If they do, they should be asked to justify it, and when they can't they should lose their voting rights.

MJ will definetely get in, I think they need to split it up. Like maybe into colliegate and pro or something. or have men and womens

There are only 2 reasons for someone not voting for Jordan:

1. Character issues

2. They're trying to get some fame by voting against the best basketball player of all time.

That said, I'm sure it'll be unanimous. There are some dominant players you can at least pull the "he choked in XXXXXX" or "he didn't play great defense" or "he didn't win enough championships" cards out. You obviously can't do that with Jordan.

I think a lot of people are bothered by the fact that its just the Basketball Hall of Fame, and that the NBA doesn't have its own separate Hall of Fame. Why its such a big deal to them, I don't know.

Anyone who does not give their vote to Jordan should be givin an old school, dirty south style whoopin. Make them get their own switch and everything. And they better not get that skinny switch. Lol.
