Re: I Remember When.......
When the Knicks epitomized the word 'team' during the 70s glory years.
When Doctor J did his high-wire act at the Nassau Coliseum
When Boston & Phoenix played the greatest playoff game I've ever seen.
When Magic Johnson & Larry Legend changed the game of basketball, college & pro.
When Pat the Rat Riley let John Starks shoot the Knicks out of a championship.Comment

I remember my back-up plan of being in the NFL just in case I didn't make it to the NBA. Either way, I would be in the MLB during the offseason.
I remember HATING Stockton/Malone/Russell/HORNACEK (mad hatin on jeff and his gay little FT face stroke thing, lol.....)
I remember Harold Miner, Jerry Stackhouse, countless others being touted as "The Next Jordan"
I remember Antonio McDyess being one of my favorite players when I was younger (dude had SOOOO much hops when his legs worked! I still have like 50 or so Mcdeezy cards.....Twin towers in DEN!)
I remember Mighty Mouse being booed on Draft Day, then killing it in Toronto. Then smokin out w/ Sheed a few years later, lol.
I remember Ed O'Bannon.
I remember Antoine Walker on the cover of NBA Live.
I remember when Michael Jordan inspired me as a youngster. Dude still makes me want to do better at life in general.
I remember the first basketball videogame I took seriously. "Bulls Vs. Blazers" on SNES. Custom moves for players! Jordan Reverse! Kemp dunking off the backboard! sikwitit! I know they had Bulls v. Lakers b4 that, but y'all are older than me, lol. jokes, jokes.
I remember the only "snow day" I've ever had in grade school. My friend and my little brother sat home and played "Barkley: Shut Up and JAM!" all day!
