    Update....FIU got 1,000 calls requesting season tickets. Avergae attendance last year: approx 675. Also, approx. 350 high school players called the school to show their interest in the team.

    Sound positive so far....At least here he can't trade or sign free agents.

      So there AD says.
      I heard a story about this morning, 1000 tickets were not bought and that is the bottom line. He says they have received 1000 calls about buying tickets yet only sold about 100.
      Also there are not very many good players left unsigned much less 350 good players. Anyone can call and show interest, hell I am 36 and have 2 years of eligibility left maybe I should call! lol My point is anyone can call and show interest.

          Surely just having one of the 50 greatest nba players recruiting you has to have more pull than previous FIU recruiters so other than the sex scandals I see it as a positive move for the program....
