2000-01 Rookie of the Year - Mike Miller?

I knew Mike Miller won it way back when, but looking at the ROY voting that year, how did he win it?

Kenyon Martin averaged more points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. The only thing Miller led Martin in was games played (82 to 68). Was that a good enough reason for Miller to get 75 1st place votes to Martin's 36?

Damn you're right. KMart was straight robbed. Miller did shoot a redick 40% from deep.. but other than that KMart owned him.

That had to be one of the worst draft classes in recent history. YUCK

Miller did that on a playoff team, while KMart did it on a 26 win team.

Chances are, if it's that big of a blowout, there's a good reason.

That had to be the worse draft class I can remember. But if I can remember, Martin had gotten injured and with the recent history of his injury in college, they looked at Miller's stat and the number of games he played that made him ROY.

Mike balled that year. Back when he had some slashing ability and T'mac almost cried when he was traded, lol.

Yeah, those two were really good friends. I wish we never traded him for Gooden.
