SAS and ESPN are no more

6 more weeks and then it's over

Would you like to see him join Kenny, Chuck, Ernie in the studio?

    I would

Why's he gone? I actually am gonna be kind of sad...as much as I dislike him, it's kind of funny to see the way he talks and gestures.

I like how seriously he takes the game though. That's why I'd like him on TNT.

Man he ain't no different than the random dude in the Barber Shop just yelling and talkin' **** for no reason but don't got a clue as to what he's saying . I hope nobody picks up him.

I better stop now because I don't want anybody to accuse me of being a "*****".

Except for the yelling, how does that make him any different from 98% of the sports "analysts" on TV? Or any of us posting on this forum?

I hope he doesn't join the TNT crew. He would ruin it. I can't stand his voice and he's even more annoying when he tries to talk serious.

Boooooooooooooooooo @ comparing SAS to Max Kellerman. I understand going from having your own show to being dropped from the network, but theres a huge difference in that Kellerman is actually a quality TV personality.

Re: SAS and ESPN are no more

Giving SAS his own tv show pretty much doomed him. I mean he was loud before that, but ESPN created a monster when the gave him that.

Now that he's out of a job, I think he'll scale down a bit. But his loudmouth is what makes SAS SAS so who knows.

Max was sorely missed, didn't he try to go to Fox Sports for a minute?

Remember when Fox Sports and CNN both had spots shows? That was awesome. I know Fox still has something but nowhere near what they had before.

Lol...thats true. I knew SAS was way too loud and arrogant to last long, and I got that same vibe when Max was at his peak.

I guess looking back I could see how one would find Max arrogant and loud, I just never felt that way.

I thought he made Around The Horn, stat guy is just smarmy.
The whole network has really gotten smarmy to me, especially the newer sportscenter hosts.

Stephen's ego is too big to compete with Charles and Kenny's, plus he'd mess up the dynamic that makes them great/entertaining...I say good riddance and no thank you.
