Most Ridiculous Statement of the Year

This is from today's NY Post:

"A 2010-11 starting lineup of Nash and Wilson Chandler in the backcourt, with James, Danilo Gallinari and David Lee up front could make the Knicks title contenders."

Don't they call New York, "Big City of Dreams"?

I can see why they call it that.

I dunno...I could see Nash going to Toronto to end his career if there's interest from the Raptors and if he's willing to be a quasi starter/backup type of player.

As for James...I really do see him going to NY. It's just a gut feeling on my part. Cavs fans better hope my shoddy record in prognostication holds up and James ends up staying in Cleveland.

I'm sure I'll survive. We're used to that kind of thing here in Cleveland...

Yeah, that statement is ridiculous. Nash has been in his prime in PHX with a better lineup surrounding him and hasn't managed to get to the finals..... To raise the Ridiculous-ness of that statement, their best player isn't even in that starting lineup.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bron head to NYC. Let's face it. He's the biggest star on the planet and he put Cleveland on the map. NYC is the only place where the spotlight will be as big as he is.

That said, he would need more talent around him than that to field a dominant team. Nash has come and will shortly be gone. There are guys that will be coming into the league shortly that will be carrying the next wave. The key will be whether or not the Knicks use their draft pick this season wisely. If they can get one really high quality player out of that, then they're in good shape. It won't take much to get Bron to go to the Big Apple, and they will have the money to outbid just about anyone.

If you think Wilson Chandler hasn't proven anything, obviously you haven't watched much Knicks games.

Devin Harris, Vince Carter, Lebron James, Brook Lopez sounds a helluva lot better than that list that guy had in his article.

Oh and Wilson Chandler is good no doubt, but let's not hype him like he's the next big thing in
                            the league now.

And Mo Williams, Delonte West, LeBron James and JJ Hickson is just as good as either line up.

It's all moot anyway, he's not leaving Cleveland.
