I just went to NBA.com and checked out the polls, and Walter McCarty isnt even on the list for 6th man of the year. I know hes starting all of a sudden in the playoffs, but thats because hes a great defender who's been shutting down J ONeal. He was 6th man the whole season, and hes a role player who knows how to step it up. I dont know if he should win it, but the guy deserves to be on the ballot.

I dunno about all that "shutting down Jermaine O'Neal" but he's played a good series.

He does a great job fronting J Oneal so that he doesnt get the ball downlow. Hes also a guy who brings a lot of excitement and can get a key steal or block that turns the momentum, something you look for out of a sixth man.

Dude, youve got guys like Vashon Lenard, Lucious Harris, and Earl Boykins on there. Walter McCarty can hang with them. Although Harris is a celtic killer
