    Josh Smith & Tyrus Thomas

I don't think they have any idea of how good they can be. If Smith can develop a mid-range/outside game, he can be an all-star. Thomas, if gets his rebounding and scoring up(which i know he can) he'll be a beast as well.

Will they reach their potential? Only time will tell.

Tyrus Thomas is not very good. That trade the Bulls made when they shipped Aldridge to Portland for him was horrendous.

I'll take Tyrus Thomas over Andrey Blatche.Lets make a trade. Atleast Tyrus knows what he is, well sometimes..Blatche has no clue.

I like his potential. Just last year I thought the same as you, but now seeing him mature has changed my mind.

mKoz, I agree, he is getting a lot better. The fact that they traded him away for Lamarcus Aldridge is a killer, though. My roommate is a Bulls fan and he curses every time he sees the numbers Aldridge puts up. I remind him, if Tyrus wasn't so mediocre, y'all would never have gotten D-Rose. Guess it was kind of a blessing in disguise to trade for Tyrus.

Not sure why you brought up Blatche, but...

Andray Blatche was the 19th pick of the 2nd round in 2005 and was shot, setting his career back a year or two. He was also drafted straight from HS.

Tyrus Thomas was the 4th pick of the 1st round in 2006.

Rose is going to make TT a lot better over the next few years assuming TT stays in Chicago. It will be nice if he can consistently knock down that 15' J but the man still has a horrible basketball IQ.

Everybody keep talkin bout the tt/aldrige trade. I personally liked the tried and till this day i would still take tyrus thomas. Lamarcus is soft as a loaf of bread and i hate soft players. Tyrus is younger and is still developing i dont think lamarcus is going to get much better than he is right now. He will jus be a jumpshooting big man. And Lamarcus would never be putting up the numbers he is putting up now without brandon roy. They take attention away from him. If he was on the bulls right now he would be averaging no more than 14 points a game and he wouldnt help us much becuz he really doesnt rebound too good. If they get the right coach to help tyrus develop he is going to be a beast. I will say though jus like he jus said that Tyrus Thomas basketball IQ is absolutely ATTROCIOUS!

If he was on the bulls.....

That is not a valid argument.

If Lamarcus Aldridge was traded to San Antonio for Tim Duncan he would become the best power foward ever.

                See, doesn't work.

Thats not the same....the bulls have so many weapons that he wouldn't get as many shots and he wouldn't get as much floor time as he does now because he can't even rebound better than john salmons

wow ok....easy to say when he doesn't get much burn....but when he does he's very productive

Dont make posts like that if you haven't actually focused on the guy....he can do it all and i mean everything on the floor....there's not one thing he cant do

The problem is at this point he's not very good at any one thing...he just needs a coach thats willing to work with him....he should have had hibbert's minutes this season
