Agreed on NCAA College Basketball 2K3. It is my dream that I can play a college hoops game as comprehensive and as fun as the great NCAA Football 2003 is.

I agree, lumping Drive and Fever together is pretty unfair to both games. Drive is made by High Voltage while MS handles Fever internally. Of the two Drive is definitely more in tune with the competition and for my money looks to be the best b-baller this year. Two great games in 2k3 and Drive 03, can't go wrong with eitherComment

If I had to pick one game, it would be NBA2K3. Just my opinion though.Comment

No doubt NBA 2K3 will be the best!
I played it at E3 and the new animations they put in looks great. You can now dive to save the ball and change from a dunk animation to a layup. The charge/blocking fouls have been tweaked so a blocking foul will no longer be called as a charge. Blocking has also been improved. When I took my point gaurd into the paint for a layup, Shaq came out of nowhere and smack the ball out of bound. That was the last time I ever took Tony Parker into the paint again.

Re: Who will win the crown for best B-Ball game 20
Last year, after buying NbA2k2 for the DC I was amped for the xbox version. At first I was extremely happy but the more I played it, the more I realized it was rushed. I ended up taking it back and re-buying ID to complete my season. Inside Drive was good, but it looked better due to how horrid Live was, and how rushed 2k3 was. VC has a rep of coming back stronger each year, MS has shown with its Fever franchise that they pick a few things and work on those soley. Since ID was a quality title, they can do that and possibly take the throne, but my money is on 2k3. I saw pics with assistant coaches, players diving, completey refiend player models, and an awesome franchise mode. For ID, I saw great player models, and several new animations that impressed. I'll definately pick up both games, but will probably end up rekindling my love of the 2k series. It's a great problem to have as an xbox owner.Comment

Re: Who will win the crown for best B-Ball game 20
OK, Inside Drive 2002 was IMHO, the best console basketball game I'd ever played. Did it have the depth I wanted? Nope? Did it have too many blocked shots? Yep.
Was the in game gameplay the best on the XBox last year? IMHO, yes it was. By a large margin.
I'd originally purchase Inside Drive because I hated waiting for NBA2k2 to arrive. I'd played over 20 games in my season with the Lakers and I loved it.
Then I traded the game in for NBA2k2 because I HOPE it would be just as enjoyable to play, while adding more depth.
It didn't. I kept NBA2k2 for two weeks, hoping to adapt to Sega's control scheme. I did. I played 9 games into my season. Then I had a chance to play the OXM demo CD that game with a demo version of ID 2002. All of the thrills I'd experience playing ID came flooding back and I couldn't enjoy NBA2k2 any longer.
Inside Drive 2003 will have everything 2002 didn't have SANS online play. Sliders too baby!Fulham FC...Showin' em love.
