the opponents gamebreaker has to be ACTIVE and you have to have the ball to cancel a gamebreaker...hopefully that will clear up somethings...

To Cancel a gamebreaker, your opponent has to have one pocketed. Then when you get one(up to level one), you press the opposite of what you press to keep it. I have the GC one and to pocket a gamebreaker, you would press up on the d-pad. To cancel it, you press down. Check it out on street school. I would assume this is the same on the other versions.

Sorry, this is wrong. The opponent's gamebreaker has to be pocketed, not active. That much I know. I also pulled off canceling a gamebreaker today. You MUST have a level 1 gamebreaker active, and not a level 2. With Level 2 you have to go ahead and pull of the gamebreaker; you cannot cancel the other teams. I wish you could, in case you are close to 21 and the opponent is getting ready to get their 2nd gamebreaker, but you can't.
