Aright, with all this talk of trading toine, what could the C's get for him

Im kinda pissed, because I know Ainge wants to get rid of him and if he doesnt play well in the next game his stock is gonna go down the s***er. If we traded him last year we could got some nice players or picks. I was thinking we could trade him and the second first round pick (the one the C's got from philly) for a higher pick, and try to get TJ Ford. That would be beast.

My friend suggested trading him for Hilario. I dont know if thats worth it.

    Thoughts?

After thay messed up last years team, they messed up any chance they had of really winning anything. They should trade Toine, and build around Pierce. He's the franchise player for the Celts.

I just keep thinking to myself, "What if we never got Vin Baker?" Really though, thats 14 mil. Thats so much cap room its ridiculous, for gods sake the celts could add a couple more mil to that and pick up J Oneal if we never had Baker. The celts management f***ed the team over. I hope ainge can turn it around.

BTW hes head of operations. Is that the same as GM or what?

I don't know. I think trading 'Toine for a first round pick would be kind of a shaft by whoevers the team they're traing with. I would suggest them trading Toine for a player of value and a first round pick. The perfect example would be trading with Detroit for there first round pick. The Pistons would get Walker and the Celtics would get Corliss Williamson and the Pistons high first round pick(hopefully they will get Bosh).

Hey, don't forget trading Joe Johnson for Rogers and Delk. Its basically Johnson for Delk which was a major mistake. You put Peirce at the 3 and Johnson at the 2 with Anderson still running the point and you have a much better starting lineup right there.

No one is going to be willing to give up that much for a "power forward" who shot the most 3s in the leauge and only shot 32%. Our high first rounder (which could possibly be number 2) and Big Nasty? No way. The best thing for the Celts imo would be to work a sign and trade to bring Elton Brand there. The Celts need a real inside scorer, which will force people to stop doubling on the outside.

Maybe Toine for a 9th-13th pick.......I'm sure someone like the Heat would be interested.
