Will Mavs get Tim Duncan?

Mark Cuban has had some talk about signing Tim Duncan. Do you think this is ever going to happen? I don't think so because the Spurs are in Mav's division, and letting the Mav's sign him would hurt the Spurs.

#1 record in the NBA, #1 spot in the West (hardest conference) with maybe not the most talented team, is enough I hope for Duncan to look at what they've accomplished and just want to improve off of that with his current squad.

Losing D rob will be tough, but if they can sign a good FA they'll be ok.

i don't know 'if' it will happen, but 'if' it does, the Mavs 'will' be the next NBA dynasty.

I dont think Duncan will leave. I agree with what I heard this morning that the odds are better that Kidd ends up in San Antonio versus Duncan ever leaving. If Kidd does end up in S.A., the Spurs will be the next dynasty.

They don't have the cap room. Cuban has said the Mavs will lose $40 million this year because of the luxury tax. There is also no way Duncan takes the mid-level exemption to go to Dallas. He's still to young for that.
