    Re: NBA 2K4 Screenshots (XBOX)

A few things Sega, firts off the screens are nice but theirs a few things thats a little off.

    1. The jerseys (top halfs) are still too tight around the shoulder and chest area, need to loosin them up a LOT more. Right now it looks like their painted onto the bodies.

    2. The color still seems a little washed out, look at pic #3. Iverson's jersey is a smoked color in that pic, its supposed to be the same color as his headband. NJ's away uniforms are darker than that, use dark deep rich colors for everthing.

    3. Arm bands and such still have that painted on look to them, this must be handled just like NFL2K3 was.

    4. A little more defintion to the players arms, like Iverson, KG, Vince and such (I dont mean mass).

    5. Players still look as if they run the same as last years game, please get a smoother, more NBA like running animation.

    6. Defence looks as if its played the same way as last year( bump the defender off balanced when using deke moves), please read the "wish list" here on OS for some good suggestions for D.

Blurr the background a bit during replays and Webbers arms arent that big!

    Cant wait for 2K4!

What is up with the wrist and armbands being painted on to the players?! Shouldnt it look more like the headbands? I mean they actually look like it is being worn onto their heads and not drawn in. VC needs to get this issue fixed, I mean cmon, the companies name is visual concept and visually, the wrist, arm and bicep bands needs to be handled more like their headband where it has texture and depth, more along the line of nfl 2k. PLEASE VC get this fixed.

                those pics like unbeleivably [censored]...

With all the descriptions going around about 2k4, it sounds like it's going to be a copy of NBA Live, or NBA Jam *yikes*

They're talking about spin moves, behind the back passes, incredible pace (doesn't say anything about teams playing like their real life counterparts) blah blah blah.

Jeezus, if we wanted to play NBA Live we would buy NBA live. Stick to what you were doing VC and Sega, because by the sounds of the game so far, I'm not even going to bother with 2k4

From what I've played, it's definately not like Live. It's still got the NBA 2k feel to it. It's just a little faster paced. Which I think is a good thing. It's like changing the speed in settings to fast instead of normal. (Actually, its less then that) It's very much like NBA 2k though.

NBA live usually doesn't do it for NBA-sim fans.

Hell , every move you could pull of in Live could be done in 2k3. You act as if Live invented the spin move.
