phil jackson got out-coached this series
yes he did, why didn't he double-team tim duncan more often than he did. why didn't he bench robert horry earlier in the series. he fail to make the necessary adjustments in the series for his team, like you are suppose to for your team.

Re: phil jackson got out-coached this series
You cant sit a guy who has made as many big shots as Horry has the last 3 years. They would have never beat Sac. last year without Horry. He didnt have anyone else to guard the Spurs big men anyway! Phil cant go out there and make shots for his guys, he coached the same way he always has his guys just didnt hit shots like they have the last 3 years. If anyone is to blame it is Kobe he disappeared the 4th quarter. You need to state some facts before you go blaming everything on Phil Jackson!ND Season Ticket Holder since '72. -

Re: phil jackson got out-coached this series
You can just blame Kobe for the loss for not showing up in the 4th quarter. The whole team didnt show up in the 4th quarter! They got outscored 32-13 in the 4th. Parker kept on driving down the lane, they had countless wide open 3 point shots, and how many offensive rebounds did the Lakers give up? It wasnt just Phil or Kobes fault, it was the entire team.Comment

Re: phil jackson got out-coached this series
The reason why the rest of the other Laker players did not show up in the 4th quarter or in critical moments is because they are not used of Kobe sharing the ball. Heck, they can only touch the ball once Kobe went for a break.
How are you gonna build confidence on a team that is dominated by a shark.
Look at NJ, a lot of the players there are very confident when it comes to critical moments. Heck there 5 starters can even score in double figures.Comment

Re: phil jackson got out-coached this series
I was wondering what the excuse was going to be. The Lakers lost because they ran into a team that is better than them. Period. The Spurs have beat the 8 times this season, and only lost to them twice. The team is just plain better, face it. All season Laker fans have been saying "Regular season doesnt matter" and "They will turn it on in the post season". Well eat that big plate of crow like a man, dont make excuses.Comment
