Lebron gets higher and jumps from further away from anyone in the league right now. His dunks are boring, but this thread isn't about dunks, it's about flying high. Lebron does this as good or better than anyone.

Some how, some way, every thread is about Lebron.

IMO "Highflyer" encompasses everything from jumping high, to flair, to style, etc.

Exactly. Although not in my top five of all time, he is in the top three currently in the league for getting above the rim.

Name a dunk that you think is good and i can find a clip of Lebron doing it.

His dunks in traffic and in the half court set are nasty. Give me those any day of the week over J-Rich's breakaway dunks.
They're just basic dunks though. Nothing special about them lol. Only difference is he just throws it down harder than everybody else.

When it comes to Top dunkers of all time, he shouldn't even be mentioned with those other dunking greats. Hell, Dwight Howard is a 2 time Slam Dunk Contest Finalist, but I wouldn't even put him in the top 10 as far as Dunkers of all time.

He ocasionally shows off with some through the legs, off the backboard stuff during a pre-game here and there, especially in NY...but yeah, Brons drives are more about power than hangtime.

Every once and awhile he'll fly in from so far on the break tho...

Did LeBron even do a two handed dunk his first three years in the league? Seemed like every damn dunk was that one-handed, kinda to the side, tomahawk.

Sorry, man. I always thought Clyde was a really, really boring dunker too. He got up high, and had some grace when he was far away, but he's not even on my list of guys I'd like to watch a top ten of. In contrast, watching Vince's top 100 was awesome from start to finish.

It's all subjective. Love the Lister Blister though.

exactly, he wasn't the flashiest dunker but the guy just glided in the air. It's just a beautiful thing to watch. I based my choices on "high flyers" not the best dunkers

                                2. Dominique.

                                3. MJ

                                4. Kemp.

                                5. Dunno... Me on a trampoline?

As far as Lebron is concerned.. He doesnt seem to have any hang time. Even on fast breaks he jumps about 8 feet away and it looks like he starts coming down as soon as he hits the peak of his jump. Not nearly the hangtime of MJ or Vince.
