    Re: Foye/Miller to the Wizards

Young has already been rumored to go a few times this year. His job ain't safe either just because he was a 1st round pick.

Don't know how many more chances Blatche need. If it wasn't for the fact Jamison is the only TRUE PF, I think he'd be gone too.

I just wished we haven't gotten rid of that 5th pick.

          Why?

I'll take both of our new found above average veteran fourth options on the perimeter over one rookie fifth option.

I like it for the Wiz from a talent perspective but who is going to rebound the ball when Haywood gets hurt again? There has to be another deal in the works, they are just too stacked with guards and have too few bigs for them not to make more deals i would think.

The below average big man we trade Mike James and Crit for.

Rebounding doesn't play into this trade at all though.

Both Foye and Miller averaged more rebounds per than any of the three players we traded. Combined over an 82 game season, we exported 3.6 rebounds and added 8.5.

Well that's you.. I want the pick. Atleast do something better with it. Like I said I think we could've gotten a better deal somewhere.

                  Where?

The only good players even alleged to be on the table are Bosh and Amare, and if they aren't signed prior to the trade, I'm don't think giving up the 5, Caron, and a combination of Young/McGee/Blatche is worth it.

I think people get caught up in that people want Curry/Harden/Hill and don't think that they may only want one of those players on a Mike Miller/Randy Foye level.

Yeah but that's still a lot of height to give up. Wiz gave up 240 inches and only got 158 in return.

With the current lineup they would probably score 110 per but they'll be giving up 120.

I'm a huge Miller fan and Foye has improved nicely so overall they got the better end of the deal but they'll need to ship some of those guards or things will get ugly fast!

LOL...Thats so misleading. Pesh is 7 foot but he was a 7 foot 3 point shooter. Etan is what 6'8?

I'm saying..You could've waited man. You never know what could've came up. I would've waited untill atleast the draft. it's 2 more days untill the draft. People want to move up to that 5th pick. they put their hand in to early to me.

I'm not upset at the trade I'm just saying we could've waited. that trade would've still been there in 2 days. Miller and Foye are Wizards now. So I'ma root for them.

Wizards: Randy Foye could improve. Mike Miller can get his points up after great rebound and assist totals with Minnesota. Good move.

Timberwolves: Picks #5 AND #6? Will they shop one? Some good options. I wonder if they keep them both if the #6 pick would feel slighted.

They are not keeping all 4 first round picks, plus this is the season of misdirection, Just cuz they said they are not means thats true....

Thought about this more and it's a good trade for both really.

This Kahn guy is starting fresh..

Only question I have is.. Gilbert/Foye/Butler/Jamison all need the ball in their hands to be effective. I consider Gilbert/Foye/Butler to be ball stoppers.. and last time I checked there was only one ball.

Hopefully they can work that out and mesh because I had pegged WAS to be legit before all of those crazy injuries happened over the span of two-three years.

I doubt Butler/Gil/Foye will be on the court at the same time all that much.

Hell, I wouldn't be too surprised if Foye isn't traded before the season starts.
