I find it pointless to talk about if's

And there are some big if's in this thread

Hedo is the SF and Rashard is the PF and I still think the Magic are better than the Cavs with those two lineups.

Magic, but if everything went well, it'd be really close.

          I'm partial to

          PG: Rajon Rondo
          SG: Ray Allen
          SF: Paul Pierce
          PF: Kevin Garnett
          C: Kendrick Perkins

To answer your question though, Magic. And after watching around half of Detroit's season + playoffs, I'd say Sheed is pretty done. Better off getting a Lebron a 4 that can grow with him.

            Celtics

You guys are so quick to forget about Garnett.

Not quick to forget, just realizing that Garnett is coming off a major knee injury, PP is showing signs of slowing and Ray Allen is getting another year older.

I'll take the Celtics' starting five as well. As for the question at hand, I don't think the Cavs will be picking up Rasheed Wallace, so I'll place Varejao at PF and give the nod to the Magic.

PP and Allen were fine last year. They also have Rondo, experience, a ssolid bench and good chemistry.

Cleveland would be in the mix even without Shaq, but he makes them better.

Orlando will be very good too, but they have to figure out who is the man over there.

At the end of the year, PP was really, really slowing. He could barely get to the rim anymore. Allen probably will be able to shoot it for a few more years, but he is nothing more than a glorified role player anymore, like Shaq will be in Cleveland.

And if Hedo goes back to Orlando, this is all moot, because it's Orlando by a mile.
