Well young lady (Sarah), you can expect to see a more rested and relaxed Mavs team tomorrow night. Know why? No pressure! The pressure will be on the Spurs. We did what we wanted to do. Dallas has been scoring like that all season. They're the best offensive team in the game, along with the Kings.
The Spurs will impact that simply because they like to slow the game to a crawl, but Dallas will still get theirs.
Dallas and San Antonio ALWAYS play close, nail-biting basketball, and I expect this series to be no different.Comment

In perpective, Dallas can't relax as long as they are facing SA. Or until they reach finals. They have a tendency to blew everything they have work hard. For example they let Portland beat them 3 times before closing them. Let Kings come back before closing them. And I don't think Nelson want those game 7 intentionally.
Reason why I still won't feel better about them until this series is over.

Nice strategy. But who wants to watch guys shoot free-throws alnight. This had to be a very bad night for the NBA and it's fans. If they thought the ratings would be bad because of the lack of star power.... last night free-throw circus only made it worse.

i doubt we`ll see another game like this one. but i`ll admit the free throw circus was kind of a annoying but it was also very interesting to see how the teams would react to this type of game and the mavz did a better job at it.
and honestly, this is the only way they can beat SA. they have to make it a free throw contest. SA is just a better team in every way except free throws. to win this series Dallas has to double team duncan and get to the free throw line. if they live and die with the jump shot they will lose this series badly.
but that`s the big problem with dallas though, they are basicly a jump shooting team.Comment
