Nice strategy. But who wants to watch guys shoot free-throws alnight. This had to be a very bad night for the NBA and it's fans. If they thought the ratings would be bad because of the lack of star power.... last night free-throw circus only made it worse.

i doubt we`ll see another game like this one. but i`ll admit the free throw circus was kind of a annoying but it was also very interesting to see how the teams would react to this type of game and the mavz did a better job at it.

and honestly, this is the only way they can beat SA. they have to make it a free throw contest. SA is just a better team in every way except free throws. to win this series Dallas has to double team duncan and get to the free throw line. if they live and die with the jump shot they will lose this series badly.

but that`s the big problem with dallas though, they are basicly a jump shooting team.

In Game 1 with their jump shot not falling they attacked the basket with Van Exel and Nash to draw those fouls and get to the line. The Mavs do have slashers who can attack the basket. My point is if they continue to attack the basket they will give the Spurs trouble.

And no, the Spurs are not a better offensive team then the Mavs as Killroy maybe implying

Do you think that Don Nelson is thinking about what fans want to see. YEAH RIGHT. He's thinking about winning a playoff game. I would be doing the same thing because it's hilarious to watch for everybody except the Spurs. For Bowen to be a pro and shoot 40% from the line is an embarrassment. He just sucks at the line along with his teammates.

on paper the mavz may be a better offensive team but in an actual game situation when duncan and the rest of their starters are on the court the spurs are a better offensive team... why??? because they can break down a defense with ease. the mavz don`t really have any players that force a double team. but it is scary to watch the spurs when duncan leaves the court...

they have trouble scoring without TD.

on paper the mavz may be a better offensive team but in an actual game situation when duncan and the rest of their starters are on the court the spurs are a better offensive team... why??? because they can break down a defense with ease. the mavz don`t really have any players that force a double team. but it is scary to watch the spurs when duncan leaves the court...

they have trouble scoring without TD.
