NBA 2k4.. What should they continue to work on?

They still have months to work on the game so from the previews, videos, and pics we've all seen what do you think still needs work?

    1. nba finals celebration: I think the same way you guys said you'd celebrate the super bowl in nfl 2k4 should be implemented into the nba finals celebration. maybe some confetti, trophy presentation, and players wearing nba final caps during the presentations.

    2. pre-game/player intros: we need more matchup analysis like both individual and team commentary, injury news, hot and cold streaks and more. I havent seen any videos which showed better presentation.

    3. rim height/court size: the rims are still 9 feel tall, and the courts are way to small. If you look at the comparison of your game compared to an actual game the difference is unbelievable. At the least make the rims higher. I hate seeing every guy above the rim on the rebounds, and on dunks and shots players heads way above the rim.

    4. juke moves: I love the new juke moves, but I think you guys need to add a flash attribute because I hate seeing guys do amazing crossovers and spin moves who couldn't do it in real life. keep the pull up. I love faking the cross and pulling up just like T-Mac and Kobe do in real life.

    5. blocks: the blocks i've seen so far are way over-done, everything 20 feet in the air, and super powerful. This game is a sim, dont turn a sim into a arcade game.

    6. shooting animations: the edges look too sharp and pointy, also the game should have more shooting animations because it gets bland quickly when Shaq shoots the same as steve nash.

    7. import ncaa basketball draft: the players ratings drop way to far. The transition in general is horrible. either scrap it or improve it. hopefully it can be tweaked so there ratings are more realistic once you put them in your franchise off-season draft.

    8. Actual draft: there really aren't that many rookies who turn out to even be borderline stars. and in general most guys dont even improve. Also there should be a clearer line between the top tier guys and average players. Like this year it's Lebron, Darko, Carmelo and then that second level. Also if the "mock draft" projects a guy is the number one pick he should be highly rated and not a 69 overall. And can we get some high schoolers in the draft? And maybe even college or high school statistics? because what our "scouts" say never makes sences. example: "incredible passer" and then we see a 70 rating.

    9. created player: created player leg sleeves (kobe, t-mac), better tattoos, more hairstyles, better facial hair, more shoes and colors.

    10. player editing: can we please edit player equipment during our franchises. Rookies need equipment too, and maybe I want to change T-Mac's accessories. Can I? I hope so.

    11. player age: why cant you list the ages of players? I hate how the system labels guys just by years pro. Kobe and Iverson both came into the league in 96-97.. but.. Kobe is 24 Iverson is 27. Who has more potential? There is a big difference there especially when your trying to decide on who to use in your franchise.

    12. tone down the new arcade stuff.. nba2k4 should be a sim. Not an arcade experience. visual concepts is #1 in the basketball world to me..

    a few main things.

    1. have teams play like their real life counterparts

    2. have doubles teams and defensive rotations that affect offensive strategy. by this i mean if i am dominating with iverson have the cpu double me. then i might have to make 2 or 3 passes to get it to the open man after defensive rotation.

    3. not score so many points in the paint.

Also make the double teams more effective....meaning in 2k3 when I double teamed someone my 2 guys would just stand by the ball handler...no harrassing him, no getting in his face, no getting their hands up, no trying to trap him, they just would stand there and watch him throw alley's to the open man. After 2 possesions I stopped double teaming...maybe that is why the cpu doesnt do it. If you double team in real life you d up the guy and try to cut off his passing lanes, especically alley oops.

<font color="red"> Also add more created player spots!!! I shouldn’t have to do a stupid trick to get more than 10 players created.

Also the ability to edit players jersey’s number, accessories, shoes, and body size, some of these players calfs are waaaaaaaayyyyy to big.

Anther would be……a proper charge/block foul system?? I’m tired of being called for a block foul when I was clearly outside of the block foul line.

That’s all I got for now.

They should be able to make the arm, elbow, and bicep bands look more realistic then drawn in( iversons arm sleeve is horrible, as if its painted onto his arm and also the armbands its ridiculous). Just look at their headbands. It actually seems like the players are WEARING it on. It should be more similiar to the headbands where it has depth and texture and along the lines of nfl2k. Im pretty sure its not a big task to do so i believe VC should get this done and over with quickly before it ships out.

How about fluid animations. They still looked pretty jerky, and stiff in the E3 video.
