C'mon guys! It's freakin' Charles Barkley. I don't know why he was hired as an analyst because he just doesn't make any sense. He flip-flops and contradicts himself all the time. Not everyone's predictions are right but stick with what you said in the first place. He's just an idiot. What annoys me the most is when he pronounces athlete as athalete. I guess he didn't have to go to school at Auburn because he could rebound a b-ball. He makes fun of Ernie Johnson all the time like he's a better analyst. Yeah right! Well enough of Charles because he's just about as good an analyst as Bill Walton. GASP!! Who else pops in a cd when Walton is covering a game because I just don't get him and if I hear him say throw it down big fella one more time I'm gonna take my flat screen and throw it against a wall.

Oh come on. TNT doesn't care if he can analyze nor if he can read. Charles brings life to the show. His funny reactions and bonehead statements sometimes. Sometimes analyst talk all about the game and it is so boring listening to them for the most part, talking statistics and whatsoever they could talk about. Charles is different, if his bored he will do something else that is funny to the audience but not to him.
Rating went high because of him. Hey I don't watch NBA inside also until I heard Charles is there. Now I am one of it's regular audience. I like it better when Charles is there rather than listening Ernie Johnson and Kenny talking about statistics.

I glad somebody said this. Though he does know basketball he is very opinionated and will say things just to say them or if he was at home chilling with his boys. Thats why TNT has him on.

He didnt exactly endear himself to the people in SA either, He called the city podunk. He also said the river in SA is a creek, which is BS. That is a huge river.

It's good to see that you don't take things too literally. He called Sacramento podunk too, and I wasn't whinig about it. Let's be honest, like this guy has room to talk about podunk for God sake, the man is from Leeds, Alabama. I'm quite sure that is not a bustling metropolis.

He is funny as hell though, and I'm glad they have him on the show.

If anyone needs to shut up, its the Mavs fans in my opinion....you guys keep saying other people keep talking and then the mavs win and you rub it in their face so your not any better. I think the Mavs will win this series, but im cheering for the Spurs for the fact I like Tim Duncan better than anyone on the mavs, and i dont like how their fans complained in the 1st half of the 1st game..when they were the team who shot 50 free throws, and I dont know who else used this line during the mavs-Kings series....but MY GOD Dirk does flop more than a fish in a bucket.
