Stupid SEGA NBA 2K3 Bug cost me an NBA Finals game!!!!! SEGA Fix this!

WTF??? I was Utah vs. Indiana in Game 1 of the finals and I hit a turnaround hook shot with Borchardt to beat the buzzer. My team is jumping around and celebrating and I am pumped. okay, so i go and check the NBA Tonight thing and it says that Indiana won by 2 81-79! WHAT! I won with a buzzer beater and now I am down 1-0 ? Also the first game was in Indiana and now the next game is in Utah, only to go back to Indiana for the next 3 games!?!

Damnit Sega, would YOU please make a game that is not so full of bugs?!?! That is not some minor gameplay bug or some player without the proper colored shoes, that is a BUG that cost me a game! Hey, I know it's just a game. But when i win in dramatic fashion only to be rear ended by a bug that should have been found, I get a little pissed! NBA 2k4 better not have this kind of bug or I will be buying NBA Live 2004 just for spite. Get these bugs fleshed out for 2k4!

Uuuhhmm, I thinkyou will be buying the Live series this season. I've heard that 2K4 plays like Live 2003.

Anyway both games is not yet complete so they can still save there game.

Never happened to me. On the otherhand, I've never had a close game.

DId u save after the game cause u could restart and play the first game over again.

I saved, because it was a franchise and I always save immediately after the game so incase something happens I don't lose any info. I had won, so I had no reason to suspect that the game had recorded anything else.

See here is the problem. I have put in 150 hours probably between rosters, an 82 game season in which I played every game and put up with the annoying on the court bugs (Pass to the post and "phase out of bounds", passes that go to the ceiling and land out of bounds, AI getting repeated backcourt violations, etc.) and I made the playoffs just barely as a # 8 seed with Utah.

I had to play Sac in the first round, somehow we won the series 4-1. Okay so then I have to play # 4 seed Phoenix next. I go to play and...what...I HAVE HOME COURT ADVANTAGE!?! That is not how it works. Apparently Sega just programmed that whoever wins the #1/ #8 matchup get homecourt?!!? I was pissed but I played on and eliminated phoenix in 5 games. Then I play Dallas and again I have homecourt as an 8 seed versus a #2 seed. That really is stupid for me to get homecourt through out. Anyway, I play in a hell of a series and win it in game 7 in Utah 92 - 88.

So I come out and have to face Indiana and I am relieved to be playing in Indiana. So i win on the last second, literally, shot and damn it felt good. So like I said, I go to see the wrap-up and it says Indiana wins and if that isn't bad enough, Indiana now gets 3 out of the NEXT four in Indy! What is going on?

I played all season on highest difficulty and now I'm in the finals and it appears that every game i win will be counted as a win for Indiana? So what, am I supposed to lose to win? In other words, my whole franchise is SCREWED. That is why i'm so pissed.

I will buy the most sim style game this year, but if Sega doesn't cleanup some of these bugs than I will have no choice than to speak with my measly 50 bucks.

So you mean to tell me that you've played an 82 game season and cannot blow a team out yet? I play on Allstar and can literally hold a team to less than 20 points a game.

I blew plenty of teams out in the regular season, but I have tightened my play and tried to play shot clock ball in the playoffs. I got beat a lot in the regular season too. I use some wicked sliders that I got a while ago (can't remember from who) and I always play tough games.

I know what you mean, I know the ins and outs of beating the game of NBA 2K3, but sometimes when you play with lesser talent and make some poor trades, as I did with Utah, you lose some game you should have one. Sometimes I just don't shoot the ball well. I get into a funk and I lose 7 or 8 games in a row. That is what was amazing about these playoffs, I was playing my best basketball.

Also, I have been playing this game since release and I just now got this far in one franchise. After a lot of exhibition games, I started a franchise and I play maybe once or two games a day at most. And not every day. So I took things slowly. I play 10 minute games, so 20 points is usually per quarter for me.
