Re: who\'s tired of lebron here?

I sense a [censored] LOAD of bitterness and jealousy.

I hope LeBron does well and suceeds. I want Melo to do better I'll admit, I just like him better, but you all can hate on him all you want....LeBron does not care...because IF he falls...

He will fall on a stack of about 150-200 Million Dollars...don't think he minds that too much.

I like the kid and wish him well. He's going to dissapoint some people during his "adjustment" years, but then he will become one hell of a played. Also, people dissmiss that this kid was one of the the top students in his school.
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "

Re: who\'s tired of lebron here?

It is almost like you people don't want him to play as hard. Maybe he should play off and not try as hard? He is not comming out and saying he is the next big thing. He is getting labled that.

I don't dislike him or like him. I am cheering him on because I know that when he IS getting his arse bust in his first couple of years, you haters are gonna love it! Remeber that it takes time! Or it might not take that much time, look at Amare... all I have to say is you never know!

P.S. I would really appreciate it if people didn't mention his "crew." What the hell is that susposed to mean?! Just so you know, I once read that Lebron only has a small group of long time friends and family. I wonder... if it were a white kid from, oh lets just say Kentucky, would his "crew" be mentioned? Hmmmmm...

good point bubba, it's not like he's writing all these articles and putting himself all over TV. But with popularity comes people who dont want to see you succeed for whatever reason(being that they may be from a rival team or just plain jealously). I expect for it now, especially when someone gets even the slightest shred of hype. Also people like to root for the underdog and in the upcoming draft LeBron is nowhere near the underdog.

I'm with Jim Rome on this one:

No 18 year old should go by the name "King". Once I heard he had that stiched in his hummer, I lost respect for him.

I think it's fine as long as he can back it up. Muhammed Ali was calling himself the greatest long before he was ever considered one of (if not the) best boxers of all time. I also don't think he would have came up with that nickname for himself anyway. You don't choose a nickname, a nickname chooses you.

it's just a nickname....trust me i've heard younger kids with much worse nicknames than that.
